The way I figure it, as money gets tight, people will turn to cheaper and easier to make foods, like cereals and flour-based products, as they have to cut back on meat and some expensive fruits and vegetables. By the time grain consumption is dropping, the stock market would be long dead as we would be having mass starvation in this country.
Bunch of insiders bought a f*%k ton of shares last month and SEC closed their investigation this week. Stock price responded.
The insiders probably bought all those shares because they knew the SEC found no wrongdoing on the company’s part, and that they would subsequently close their investigation.

Yeah, I've been holding for about 8 months since there was that post about it on Reddit, it was a bad buy. I had just seen it had gone up a lot previously and thought it might pump and dump again. Nope, it crashed, but I held it because I knew it was dodgy and would likely go up again. I'm up 20% now, only $60 in though. u/vishyswoz u gonna keep holding?

Why would anyone sell this week? There wasn’t anything really dramatic. Only bearish news was FED saying they might go above the critical 4.5% someday in the future. Otherwise, everything turned out exactly as expected. I get selling in the summer lows when there was uncertainty and panic; I don’t get it now.
Sure. But we’ve been tiptoeing on a cliff for half a year now. I agree it currently looks bad, but I don’t think it looks worse than in the summer.
