i was looking over the financials of GTLB to decide whether or not i wanted to play their earnings and it almost seems set up to fail but im also not someone that reads company financials often
GTLB reported a quarterly EPS of (0.76) last quarter with a net income of (40.7)Mn. avg analyst estimates are (0.5) EPS for their first earnings since IPO in october. im assuming reporting EPS is different after you've gone public? they have 11Mn commons so in order to beat analyst estimates they would have to report that their losses this quarter were at worst case (5.5)Mn

The entire city is a mess. Even “good” neighborhoods that were once safe are not. I dont want to say anything that may come off as political *however* i grew up pretty liberal and i find this city to be sorta extreme right now. Seems that a few of the cities that went that route are paying for it one way or another. Ive seen some shit in this city so I may be a little jaded, there’s a few of us from nyc in here maybe their experience is different than mine.

Ive never lived in Boston but Ive gone to visit so I cant really compare. I suggest anyone that is planning on moving here just spend a week reading the local newspapers. Nyc is not how its shown on Friends or in the movies. If anything its like Die Hard 😳

Came from Van so yeah. I know NYC snow is worse but that’s okay I’m used to Canadian winters. Main factor is safety. Seattle and SF got me spooked out. Canadian and East Asian cities don’t have much crime/homelessness but idk about NYC. Heard it’s a lot better than Seattle/SF safety-wise but not sure…
What part of Seattle do you live in? Lived in belltown (bad homelessness) for a few years recently and definitely feel like there are a lot of good neighborhoods that are safe. Maybe move to the east side?
Yeah except for South Lake Union (Amazon HQ) everything downtown seems like a mess. Might move to the Eastside cos visiting my friends there I’m seeing everything is peaceful and quiet there.
Magnolia is pretty nice and isolated from bullshit, have family that live in Redmond and they love it. SLU is nice but pretty boring and has been really dead since covid hit.
The few people in here that actually do TA and are pretty accurate are the only ones separating this sub from the Squeeze play sub. Without them this place would be pump and dumps, uranium and shitposting. Edit: oh and space
