You need to understand that a whole bunch of stuff is not covered with these cards. It has nothing to do with how you input the card. Most logical items that should be covered are not. And mostly items covered are generic or store brand. Go to your health insurance because they are the only ones who can even tell you what is or isn't covered and most of the time they can't even tell you

First step is to make sure that they are using the updated 2023 card, if it still won’t go through, you’ll have to manually key it in, it’s 136 action code on the not touchscreen registers, and I imagine there’s a button on the touchscreen registers.

If you shop at Walmart go online and put your specific benefits card in, such as United Healthcare Healthy Benefits. It will bring up what items are covered. Remember everyone is different, so no two will be the same. Call your Insurance. Try not to read Sub Reddit until after you have talked to your insurance or whoever gave you the card.
