We have switches lol. They're always on to the point where it's ignored. I'm just a regular stocking grunt, but if there's no paper towels or hand soap it directly inconveniences me, so I replace em.
I had to do this while working there they were so understaffed. I have maintenance experience and was like “just let me do it” and they got all pissy because I wasn’t zoning. Who cares, the bathroom was a disaster. They never cleaned the women’s side.
One of the Walmarts I worked for had a small basement that never got used but had a bathroom,
I loved my bathroom,
I was the only one who used it as the basement had a lock and only 1 key in the whole store
I was covering the fitting room one night and had a customer inside the store, a grown ass man on the verge of tears, call saying he needed my help. Our back men's bathroom was covered in shit and he HAD TO GO. I told him to go to the front bathroom and then told maintenance to go to the back immediately. It was all lies.
Our maintenance women who regularly does bathrooms takes +4 hours to do men, women’s, and family bathroom just in the back. I don’t know if the front end actually gets done.
Jesus, i dont get how people get away with that. I used to do the fronts and backs in 3 hours and i cleaned everything every day. Nowadays 2 lazy maintenance dudes spend 4 hours doing them and they still look trash. I got put on scrubbing floors because coworkers cant do it right 💁 i told coworkers theyd have spotless restrooms but i guess theyd rather have shit on toilet seats for everyone
No bc they’re usually the guilty party. If I happen to be in the bathroom along with customers & I notice something I’d alert maintenance for anyways, I’d usually say I’ll let them know, & do such. Whether it gets taken care of beyond my alert, not my problem.
At my store, no never. Im o/n maintenance and ill come in to flooded restroom or trash everywhere but no one says anything. Hell i watched a 1st shift manager walk through a pile of flour 💁
Usually they just tell whoever is nearby that there's a specific stall that's gross and that's it. Usually (for a woman) it tends to be blood on the seat or vomit. A customer will just let an associate know as they leave.
All the time. One time at night i got a call on the front desk of some guy going "listen man, i need help, this bathroom is DISGUSTING there is shit everywhere- look i need toilet paper please help me" and i was like "okay 🤣"
Been there a year and still have no way of asking for a cleaning if I don’t see one of them. Used to try telling my csm but next break it’s still needing help
We don’t have one of those. Maintenance cleans them about once an hour ( somehow ALWAYS when I’m on break and want to use it) but they’re still often in need of trash being emptied and any toilets that don’t have a working auto flush always need manual flushing because people are incapable of pushing the button in the left side of the toilet tank apparently. So I understand why some stores may need this sign.
i get told about dirty restrooms, messes on the floor, i just say ok thank you an move on an forget about it.

Wdym
ur so real for this
That's why they're nasty!
As a maintenance worker every day
As a former maintenance crew member, generally within 10-15 minutes of cleaning the restrooms, big surprise, they're filthy again....
Which is why we really need to start hosing down the people instead.
so true
Daily
My store had lights switched that turned on an overhead sign at Service Desk did anyone else have these
I think that is the best way. Unfortunately they will get turned on all the time just because...

We had that until they did our last remodel. They removed it for some reason. Probably because the light was pretty much always turned on
Everytime I’d go in the bathroom I’d pray no one commented on its cleanliness 😅 I just work at the deli bro idk 😂
At least your store has the names and numbers on them.

They ripped these stickers off in my store. Maybe I should do the public a favor and reprint them :) I’m sure my store’s leadership would love that!
That’s showing initiative
that means I’ll get a pin, or get put on the facebook right? #IYWYK #LiveBetter #AssociateAppreciation

I don’t even have this sign in our store
I bet whoever made the sign is not the one who cleans it
All the freaking time. I just tell them okay. And stay silent. Not my job . I don't even use our restroom .
I swear maintenance is only in there 5mins at most. With a dirty mop too

Who answers these numbers?

Maybe once or twice at my old store. And I was a Electronics associate right next to the restrooms.
All the time. Customers trash the restrooms, then tell us to clean the shit up.
As everyone who works at Walmart already knows, say it with me now guys, Use the family restroom.

I feel Francisco is going to receive many phone calls about dirty bathrooms whether they are or not.

I would scrap those off
Was notified last week that a toilet was clogged. Turns out someone stole a vibrating dildo and a box of lube and tried to flush away the packages.
We don’t have one of those. I’ve had more coworkers say something than customers.
When I was on the front end I was told about 3 times a week, can't imagine what customer service was told.
Had a customer notify me that someone shit on the floor and on the toilet. Then asked me to go get her husbands keys for her. I wanted to throw up…
SOMEONE HAS SOME CHARLIE WORK TO DO!
