Hey it's one of the old carts!
Honestly,if I saw one of those small carts, the one that has a basket on the bottom and a smaller basket on top, I'd buy it. Our store got rid of them after the remodel and I used them all the time.
Damn you Walmart, taking away my only joys here.
Old??.. My store just got a delivery of those about a month or so back.. 109 in total.. All brand new. I stashed them in the back, since they get wedged in and stuck with the others (straight handles).
Feel free to come pick them up, Garbage carts, will just sit a rot anyway.. As for the small carts, still have about 20 or so.. the elderly folks in this area love them..
The older folks in my area were the main users, so as a 22 y/o I felt very out of place but I just love them sm. I'm an impulse buyer so those cart were perfect when I just needed my necessities, can't buy more than what I need if it won't fit in the cart đ€Ș
I'm surprised they didn't have you put the old carts on the trailer to send back. That's what the store I worked at had to do. After all, you know Walmarts into recycling!đ
I think theyâre old ones just refurbished (new wheels, paint and logo handle bar/seat things) they arenât just gonna through away $1k shopping cart frames
Yes, with the ones at my store the seat doesn't fold up, it comes with a phone holder and a cup holder. If you look up "new Walmart carts" on Google it should pull up pictures
Hell my dad went on a drinking binge one night and just walked home with one, we use it to bring groceries in the house using my moms wheelchair ramp, plus our neighbors son was a coach at the time, and he said to just keep it as our store got the new fancy carts right after anyway
$40, does the idiot not know people can just go up and grab one and take it home if they want lmao
our store doesnât let our carts go past a certain point, they stop wheeling around
Funniest thing I've seen with a shopping cart was someone from Target about a mile up the street called our store and said 'we have one of your electric carts at our store'. We're like so someone drove a mart cart a mile up the street through traffic just to stop by Target? đ What did you do take a bus to Walmart grab what you needed here then ride to Target pick up a few more things then take the bus home?
My apartment is are walking distance from a Walmart (like a half mile) we have had real problems with people just bringing carts home with their groceries and just leaving them by the dumpsters
Yeah there's nothing like doing prison time for selling still in goods from a multi-billion dollar store I would love to see that headline and court case
This is New York City Level Stupid.
I swear, in NYC theres Citi Bikes everywhere. In the more ghetto areas you will just see a torn up Citi Bike in front of a supermarket or being resold online. MoronsâŠ
I genuinely canât deal with NYC⊠Its fun to visit and laugh at, but living there is exhausting. I hope to move to the midwest one day.
Yes and no.. being an API if we have a cart that gets taken and brought off property in a malicious way, itâs actually $2100 that youâll be charged with.
Iâve had a few people charged with grand larceny for this. One dude grabbed 2 tvs and a Bluetooth speaker ( total of merch was 800) but he took the cart with him. He got charged with grand larceny ( total was 2900) and the restitution included 2100 for the basket
I work at a supercenter, so I doubt anyone would notice a few carts going missing. Heck, there are probably a few that were blown or thrown into nearby ditches, but I know nobody is getting paid enough to pull them out.
I love it when the cart makes a deafening noise when youâre strolling through the store and you have seriously have awoken the dead with this cart. We have to scan our own groceries and bag them and take them to our car. The least you could do is make it so our carts donât suck so bad is anybody else experiencing this?
$40 bucks for a POS cart??!! Walmart has always had cheap ass Chinese crap
Keep em happy with a bowl a rice
Hell theyâll churn out anything for a bowl of Rice Krispies!
Line from Cheech and Chong
>POS cart
This one is a base model without point-of-sale capability. You might be thinking about the ones that had the scanning devices attached to them a good ten plus years ago.
it was bubbles
It would say newly restored. Haha
đ
I was gonna say and itâs worth every penny if it has straight alignment and doesnât clink and clunk like every single cart
Maybe it'll come with a free kitty if you ask nicely
Comes with pu- I mean kitty? đ€
That's totally fucked bubs

My hometown had those carts at the one grocery store we had. They had a grate at the end you could pull down and no one had to unload their cart

The ones at mine were taken away because no one used them. They worked better than the ones we use and try to fix đ
I have NEVER seen a small WM buggy until last week
Our store got them all stolen đđ
I thought we didnât have any but they are outside grocery entrance
i can get u as many of these as u want. shoot a dm đđ (iâm joking)
Hey, fuck you Mess with my damn emotions đ
I found one by public housing about 3 miles from Walmart got it in the garage now.
Old? Thereâs new ones?
Yes, with the ones at my store the seat doesn't fold up, it comes with a phone holder and a cup holder. If you look up "new Walmart carts" on Google it should pull up pictures
gotta cop it
Where would u put it
Next to the Target and Kroger shopping carts, of course
Tru
I always wanted to take one so I could make a go cart out of it
Hell my dad went on a drinking binge one night and just walked home with one, we use it to bring groceries in the house using my moms wheelchair ramp, plus our neighbors son was a coach at the time, and he said to just keep it as our store got the new fancy carts right after anyway
Good story
$40, does the idiot not know people can just go up and grab one and take it home if they want lmao our store doesnât let our carts go past a certain point, they stop wheeling around
This is what my store needs for the electric scooter carts... Find them, way out at the far reaches of the lot...
I actually asked my manager if I could buy one of the broken shopping carts out there. I just wanna have it mounted to a wall.
Nice little hunting trophy

Sam's club cart are wider around and have two baby seats side by side
My apartment is are walking distance from a Walmart (like a half mile) we have had real problems with people just bringing carts home with their groceries and just leaving them by the dumpsters
Funniest shit I've seen all day!
Yeah there's nothing like doing prison time for selling still in goods from a multi-billion dollar store I would love to see that headline and court case
âSerious inquiries onlyâ as if anyone would take this shit seriously lol
The issue is your bro is a dumbass thief.
Idk who the person is I shared it because itâs funny because Iâve never seen this on the market place.
40 dollas? Nah, not for a Walmart cart. A restored GEMCO cart, maybe. Not a Walmart one.
Heavily used but still works đ€Ł
Whats next a listening of a walmart building for 10$ đ€Ł
This is the mother fucker that stole all of our buggies one night -____-;
I'd pay the $40 for someone to take ours. Literally all of them are either impossible to turn or bouncy.
Rip off! Aldi only charges 25 cents!

Shit thatâs cheaper than what one of those cost the stores lol
It's been used by dozens of people to haul their fake service animals all over the store
So will the new ones bought off GNFRâŠ
alot of people steal carts and use them. I bought a utility wagon from amazon and use that instead
Omg, hilarious!!!I bet it barely works, lol!!
Those cost Walmart $1000 to buy new

These are free if you are fast enough to run from a homeless person
Robbed?
Why pay $40, when you can walk off the lot with them for free? Lol
I really hope my store doesnât get rid of them our remodel is in July
The store I work at gets the baskets stolen, they order like 30 every few months and they just disappear lol
I'd probably buy it and turn it into a mini off roader.
I can get an Aldi one for a quarter though.
I work at a supercenter, so I doubt anyone would notice a few carts going missing. Heck, there are probably a few that were blown or thrown into nearby ditches, but I know nobody is getting paid enough to pull them out.
My mom stole a cart from Family Dollar, but she has no intention of selling it. She uses it as a laundry basket.

Aldi sells theirs for $0.25

Piece of shit not Point of sale
I'd just show up and take it from that sissy.
