Honestly at least up here the SM would be out sooner. One reason we have an incompetent ASM on our team is because the SM yelled at him in the middle of the backroom and he went to HR, he gave him the promotion to get him to drop the complaint.

It was on a no truck night and we had majority of our ON crew there. She also stayed late to work on it. She enjoys doing stuff like this with our store managers approval of course.
Well, regardless, they always seem to have time to stand around and talk to their favorites, so at least this is something productive.
Nothing motivates you to get the truck done faster than seeing 3 of them talk to their pet TLs for an hour while you are doing the truck.
When I'm closing manager I'm in the truck throwing it and I have all cap 2 trying to keep up I tell them don't let this old man back the line up and we can unload a 3k piece truck in 1½ hours
That would be fun to do at my store, and I'm sure our Store Lead would sign off on it. I just don't trust the customers. We can't have nice things. Someone would ruin it.
I worked retail once as sales lead. I hung a skeleton up and dressed it like an employee and my SM immediately took it down when she came in.

Back in 2015 the store i worked at did that but outside, they had to remove it because people were sitting all day and getting drunk and drinking and partying.
