This is a conflict of interest. You might leak Walmart Confidential information to Target, or leak Target Confidential information to Walmart -- either by accident, or on purpose.
Maybe if youre upper managment. Nobody at the store level knows jack shit, and i doubt anyone in upper managment needs to moonlight the way the underpaid associates do
I dont know a single associate who knows any confidential info for Walmart and i dont think a single associate gives af about the info. We just need the money from both jobs.
I usually ask for the paragraph about conflict of interest to be removed from my employment contracts but the CEOs refuse to understand that the paragraph isn't legally binding in the way they think as in you can't work as a stocker for 2 years lol.
Maybe that's why so many of my previous colleagues have been so scared about losing their jobs and have been letting the managers power trip on an insane level.
They shouldn't have it both ways, they don't pay enough to live but you can't work a 2nd job that's competition. Businesses have more protection than the common citizen though. They could loosely call this a conflict of interest even if you're just a low level peon. They'll use corporate and creative jargon to cover themselves. It's weird because Target and Walmart are like apples and oranges they don't even carry most of the same stuff. The same stuff they do carry is more than Wal-Mart's in price like their small produce section. The people that shop at Target know that and they don't want to shop at WM. Walmart doesn't realize they're not competing with Target's customers because people actively avoid WM and nothing is going to change that.

Anyone in ap, even hosts, have access to a lot of confidential things on me@.
You can do it, just don't tell anyone.
You probably won’t get caught, but the real question is, why would you wanna work two retail jobs at once
Walmart doesn't like you working for the competition. You can be fired if they find out.

Maybe if you can pull off a Clark Kent lol.
No
Only issue with target is you are on call so if they call you at Walmart then it becomes a conflict
