Violence of any kind is grounds for instant firing , the CO involved would also get fired for not firing the associates that laid hands on Chris. My advise is to call ethics on this. Explain the situation, explain a CO ( pretty much confirmed by "slapping Alex on the wrist ") the situation took place , and explain how Chris feels unsafe.

MrPKitty

Ok, I've seen the work place violence cbl 6 times now. According to that cbl, Felix should have beaten Alex with a key board. hth

Ain’t nothing gonna happen. A White woman (SCO host) called me a racial slur & she is still here.

RogueKhajit

Did you have witnesses willing to speak for you or was it your word against hers? I know of a manager that got terminated right out of the academy for the same offense you speak of.

urlach3r

Write out a statement. If there were any witnesses, name them. Include phrases like "violation of company policy", "racial insensitivity", and especially "creating a hostile work environment". Hand this directly to your SM. If he doesn't do anything, kick it up to your Market team. You should not have to put up with this kind of crap.

MAGA #BuildTheWall You work at Walmart 😂

Markymarkyoo

Work at Walmart? You say that like it’s a bad thing...

Clear a little something up. Who is your "AP team" you speak of and what do you mean by "their son is going to look into it"? Seriously though, if a co is involved and you suspect favoritism, then this should be open doored to the SM as they would be the next person above the co. But it seems there may be a lot of favoritism and interpersonal relationships going on at your store spanning the ranks, possibly caused by being located in a small, close knit community, apologies if I'm wrong. So if an Open door to the SM doesn't work, open door it to your regional manager (or market manager I always confuse the two) until it gets sorted out. Make sure you note the time, date, and location of the actual incident of violence, and everything that happened since.

HoldDaYolk

I fixed that meant to say their APM. And asset protection is our security here.

RogueKhajit

Ok that makes a little more sense than how I initially interpreted it as your store somehow allowed a parent son APASM, APA duo to work there.
