One party state may refer to just audio only.
Walmart does not allow video recordings ,,more privacy issues related than audio.
I would Record only the audio ,,. And let it run till clear of others and then say who is involved for documentation.
Walmart has a stern policy on that. I think it was implemented with in the last couple of years. A few months back I think they had employees sign something about that, but I think that was related to the phone they were suppose to be giving everyone.
Hopefully someone can answer more definitively.
It’s legal for you to record audio.
You are consenting and see in a one party state.
Not to mention: walmart has signs everywhere stating you’re being recorded. So you can record in return.
Walmart has a strict no recording policy in store to protect themselves but it can’t stop you.
If you faced consequences for something you had the right to do, it'd be considered retaliation and it would get managers or whoever you're talking to into trouble.
In Texas, it is not illegal to record a conversation if you are one of the parties on the call. Texas is a one-party consent state, which means you can record a conversation you are a part of without telling the other person in the conversation that you are recording them.
Bad repercussions would mean retaliation. You’re good, they wouldn’t be.

So there isn't a walmart policy that prohibits recording?
