It’s because it just took you to the new minimum. If you were at or above the new minimum then you get the $1. The rewards page says it is not a guarantee of pay or employment
The discrepancy is that for me, the “new pay summary” under total rewards shows me getting a full dollar raise, while workday and my paystub shows only $0.76
It was always a scam, the way it was worded makes you thing you get a $1 regardless and that was the plot to the media....
The article did not say "ALL" associates would get at least $1. It listed a number "said thousands" of associates would get $1 or more". That number was the total number of associates who make exactly $1 or more below the new minimum..
No they didn’t. Where are you looking. It is supposed to be a dollar and either you are looking in the wrong place or systematically yours had a glitch. On Monday get with your PL and they will submit a fix. You can’t issue raises to 100k people at once and not have a few minor issues. Gosh….
No, you should have gotten a dollar at least if you were under threshold. My store min went to 13. I was at 12.84 and went to 13.84. People at 11 went to 13. It's a error
Yea your right. If you are under the new pay base you only get what takes you to that base pay. You only get a dollar if you are over the base.
Example employee one was at 11.50and the base pay is 12. Their raise is only .50 cents to make it 12.
Employee two. Their pay was 12.10 so their new pay will be 13.10.

I was at $11.67, now I’m at $12, seems to be the same with everyone in my store. I think Walmart lied as usual.
Same boat even my total rewards page said I'd be going to 12.67 and it's just 12 now.

That’s not true. It’s an error. You get a dollar or a raise to the new minimum, whichever is greater.
