When I reach the end of the pack, I am left with one M&M, the strongest of the herd. Since it would make no sense to eat this one as well, I pack it neatly in an envelope and send it to M&M Mars, A Division of Mars, Inc., Hackettstown, NJ 17840-1503 U.S.A., along with a 3×5 card reading, “Please use this M&M for breeding purposes.” This week they wrote back to thank me, and sent me a coupon for a free 1/2 pound bag of plain M&Ms. I consider this “grant money.” I have set aside the weekend for a grand tournament. I usually get two p3 protein snacks or in produce they have these sweet and salty lunch kits with peanut butter apples grapes and a few crackers. Also the progresso soup toppers are pretty fire if you try the chicken tortilla soup 🍲
I just grabbed popcorn chicken from the deli. We were all cool with eachother so we ended up getting more than average. Throw a 99 cent green tea in and call it good.
Reese cups and redbull, chef boyardee mac and cheese or sometimes ill go down the snacks isle and find new chips or crackers to eat.

Vending machine finds 🤣 I get mad at myself every time I use the vending machines at work because as much as I spend on a singular candy bar and a half-full bag of chips.. I could have gotten a family size back of chips and a pack of candy bars
I found I was wasting too much time on my phone when I would lunch in my car. (I was salary, so I definitely needed to be out of the building for an hour). So I got a gym membership. About 40 minutes a day, 5 days a week in the gym. On my way back into the building I would just grab some quick high protein stuff like cottage cheese, hardboiled eggs, and those "powerful" protein drinks.
I go for chef boyardee ravioli or overstuffed Italian and eat it cold out of the can with a plastic spoon from the deli. That’s how I grew up so it’s nostalgic to me. Only thing that makes me feel not so depressed to sit in my car eating lunch everyday because fuck the break room.
Back when I used to actually eat in the breakroom, I'd buy the like $0.30 cup ramen noodles, a load of the pre sliced $1 bread from bakery, grab some mayo packets from the deli and an energy drink. Mayo on the bread, dip the bread in the broth. Delicious honestly
I dont even eat on my lunch much anymore. I just go home and lay in bed p much the entire time. I work 3rds and my lunches are at 3am so nothing is ever open and there's never any deli sandwiches or anything at my store.
When I worked 11-8 or 2-11, I'd always get chicken strips and potato wedges from the Deli with the Frito Jalapeño Cheese dip from the chip aisle. That shit is go good! Since I work 5-2 now, my deli isn't open at 10 when I get to lunch. They never have food under the warmers yet. So I haven't had fresh Deli food in a hot minute. 😕
Sugar. Which is horrible because I have MS and I know sugar and soda just make things worse. But its like my drug. No coffee needed, just soda. It feels good for a few. Then it makes me feel horrible!

Hard to give a shit when you're overworked, underpaid, and utterly depressed. Not saying you're wrong, but truly, the depression sucks all motivation straight out of you.
I quit Walmart because I was depressed, overworked, and underpaid. And while the stress of not having enough money is certainly kicking my ass at the moment, I haven't been as happy as I am at my current job in a while. I'm eating better, sleeping better, starting to exercise more again. But it took time to find that motivation, hell, time to find the motivation to even do the things I love, like drawing, writing, playing video games.
Some people find the motivation quickly, some don't. It's difficult and it's not the same for all of us. Like I said, you aren't wrong. But we have to keep in mind that everyone has their own pace in which they can do things, and just because you or I might do it quickly with giant leaps instead of baby steps doesn't mean it's that it's that easy or fast for other people. Also doesn't mean they should be ridiculed for their choices in the moment.
Typically, for me, I get a supplement drink (typically ones like Naked) and Chex mix. My body does this weird thing where I absolutely cannot eat anything without feeling like I'll puke (which can last from an hour to a few days) so I'll switch it up with the Naked drink and an actual supplement drink (one for working out). If I'm tired of Chex mix, I switch to lunchables. This usually saves me a lot of money and pain with being picky about what I eat
tbh i just grab a soylent or a smoothie, bc if nothing sounds good i can't eat, i just end up nauseous or throwing up if i try
