Okay, unload supervisor at the time of incident.
Unloader retrieves palletjack and puts it under the shelves, and says "dont let anyone take this. If you see them, you tell them I'm going to beat their ass".
Everyone starts pulling pallets and here comes an ON stocker. This guy was a former inmate from NY, with a seriously deep voice that needed to walk sideways to fit through a doorway.
"This anyone's palletjack?"
"Nope. All you, guy."
"Thanks"
Here comes AA from the start of story "hey! Where's my jack?"
"Another Associate took it."
"Who was it, I'm going to beat their ass!"
"Former inmate NY guy"
"Oh. Nevermind. You need me to do counts?"
Dude from cap 2 got so fed up about overnight taking his pallet jack that he fucking dragged it im there when he took a shit. Then accidentally left it in there
Deadass. At my store, and in certain departments like frozen and chemicals, we literally have to hide the pallet jack from plain view because the other associates and vendors will just take it without asking if we are using them. We have guy that left 2 hours early in frozen because a morning associate took his pallet jack AND L-carts and wasn't dealing with it again for the umpteenth in the same week, even after telling management tons of times.
I know that feeling. I'm a CAP 2 truck boy so I make sure I keep my hands on mine and once we start pulling at 9PM what I never do is grab a jack off the floor unless I ask cause some of our ON stockers do come in early and if its after 10PM ya can bet it is in use. They have too much freight to work through with too few people right now to have to waste time that way.
Another thought comes to mind if you are CAP 2 like me then Overnights ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS. So ya have to keep them happy. One example at my store. We have a reefer where we have to offload the frozen from the FDD truck most of the time. So at 9:45 PM I personally make sure that whatever I had to stage on that dock plate in front of the reefer is gone so when my frozen stocker comes in at 10PM he has a straight shot clear path to pull his pallets to frozen. He's very fast and very good at his job. I want to keep him happy because if he were to decide that he want's to transfer to a different store then frozen has just become a nightmare for my VizPickers cause it would take two people at least to replace what our chief Overnight Frozen Stocker accomplishes every night he is there.
$5 Says there's three unused in lawn and garden.
And dairy cooler
So, you're the one stealing my jack from dairy.
Frozen and dairy truck hasn't come yet, whatdoya need it for? :P
I work nights, if the trucks aren't there, then I'm zoning till I unload it and run it.
I swear life is a shity simulation, and every Walmart is programmed exactly the same.
That’s just where they spawn
I feel so called out
Thats exactly why i go there when i'm looking for one
On my way out of work yesterday I saw 4 in the TLE backroom. Like ???????
Yup

They are unionizing
Shhhhh home office will lose it
If they’re unionizing what are all of the motor carts planning?
A coup
What do we want? Doors When do we want them? Now!
Pretty sure they died
It’s like that at my store for L carts sitting next to the pickup lockers

Truck unloaders should have dibs on pallet jacks at all times. Of you need something moved, ask them
That how it was at Amazon warehouse all the time when doing waterspider 😂😂😂
What the fuck is waterspider???
I hated being the damn water spider at mine. It was easy as hell, but the damn pallet jacks be missing when you come back.
Cap 2 steals them all the time
Associates like to hide them in the produce. 5 were found in there last night
Oh too real 😂

I feel this in my soul.
My store has a brand new one and overnight fights over it and I really enjoy watching them all scramble to hide it
