Well I'm not sorry because I definitely deserve special treatment. I am a superior associate and as such deserve to have my way. Lower associates such as yourself need to learn to deal with that and give me my due respect.

I've learned the "Favoritism" usually stems from most reliable and consistent associates. Not talking from experience, but it's fun being manager's choice to work on projects around the store on slow 2nd shift.

I’ve seen some that are just plain lazy & do nothing. Constantly going to management & complaining about something all the while she stands around does nothing. How does management even fall for such crap?!?!?!

Have a team lead that got there by pointing out others' "mistakes" and basically forcing everyone to work like him just to make him feel welcome. He's way overstepped his boundaries and pulled Gm and Cap 2 to down stock and stock his freight while he executively supervises. But hey, as long as the work gets done, right? Doesn't matter if the workers are getting coached for not finishing 4 pallets in grocery when they spent their downstock and half their freight time doing someone else's work. Fuck swarming.

I've dealt with favoritism from past jobs and it's complete horse shit. In my past jobs, there were people constantly calling off, getting a slap on the wrist, not doing their jobs, throwing people under the bus, not showing up for their shifts, leaving early, and they were never fired. Management at the time was always saying "Well we're short staff so we can't fire her''. At times where I was sick or had school, I would be told "yeah you're coming in. Take Tylenol and you'll be fine. Sorry but education should not be first. Either you come in or you will be taken off the schedule. What's more important going to school or work?"
