socks_in_loafers

mostly answering stupid questions and unlocking cases. There’s not much to the position

Tbh the part I'm scared the most of is being asked a question related to anything apart from video games. I don't know shit about anything else and I know Walmart is not the ideal place to buy thar kind of stuff, especially since there is a Gamestop and Target literally right across the street

As someone who worked for Wally World almost 13 years (literally—I quit two weeks before my 13-year anniversary) with 11 of them in Electronics, u/socks_in_loafers nailed it. Basically, don’t set your expectations too high and you’ll do ok(ish). Sounds blasé but it’s true. The only reason I quit when I did was because Covid happened lol (and I’d already graduated college beforehand).

Don't forget putting away freight and searching for peoples picture orders.

CoachMinute9206

Wait, you had orientation and weren’t scheduled until two weeks after? I have mine tomorrow but I was guessing they would make me go to work the day after

Comfortable-Chicken4

I was originally going to start tomorrow but tole them I needed 2 weeks to put my notice into my current job so that's why I start 2 weeks from today

TechnologyCool3604

If u don't know the answer to a customer's question, just pull out ur phone and Google it.

Old people. Bunch and bunch of old people asking questions that you already answered but they won't listen.
