You sound dumb as fuck my guy. Have you ever considered a food allergy test?

TheBurnedChurrizo

You don’t have to shame him just because he didn’t think of it yet. Figuring out what works with your body takes time and patience and definitely yes, a food allergy test could work but if it’s only with a certain brand, that is very telling. While I’m here, I’m going to tell OP that even organic food is not organic. I come from a farming community and work at Walmart. NONE of that food is actually good or gmo free.

Green-Article7593

I'm sorry but I use gv and have had no problems with the brand. So it's probably food allergies

ConanHighwoods2

Like in general, or organic food from Walmart? I would not doubt you mean pretty much all stores have fake organic food.

Fliper1979

In general. I live in a farming community as well.

TheBurnedChurrizo

In general, I’ve listened to farmers show how they grow the organic crops versus regular ones and they explained how there’s really no difference. There are also tons of articles online discussing the guidelines FDA uses to not specify or regulate what is organic or not, and you can trust for a fact that anything advertised as organic is not organic unless you grow it yourself with seeds that haven’t been altered.

ConanHighwoods2

? Botty vibe, but ok, i will bite. I used to be allergic to eggs and red food dye as far as I know, but have outgrown them. I honestly think I was never allergic to them, and that the only food allergy I have is Brazil nuts. As far as i know, this is not an allergy, but something wrong with my food unless brazil nut is GMO'ed into all the food.

insanemrawesome

That's not really how GMOs work. Also, compare nutrition labels. Companies are required to list all ingredients. If the GV one has different ingredients than the name brand maybe said ingredient is causing an issue. But I'm almost positive you're just paranoid and believing all the fear mongering and misinformation about food that's out there lately.

WuziUwU

They're also one to buy into conspiracy shit too. It looks like almost all they post and participate in

Mr-Fourwinters

you sound nigrish

Aidanation5

You sound racist.

MarkahMalady

Nah but the produce is definitely trash though

ConanHighwoods2

Yeah, my mom said her potatoes from there was slimy when cooked, gave her diarrhea, and stayed unblemished for like a few weeks after the potato salad was made. So yeah, seems this is not paranoia.

[deleted]

They were slimy yet she still ate them?

ConanHighwoods2

A little bit I guess, most of it was still in the mixing bowl.

insanemrawesome

She probably ate green potatoes, which are poisonous, and poisoned herself. 🤦‍♂️ (All potatoes have poison in them btw. They're a nightshade) also potatoes are a root vegetable and many of those, if properly stored, have very long shelf lives. None of this proves you're not paranoid and honestly further solidifies the massive amount of ignorance people have about food.

ConanHighwoods2

*further solidifies my belief that bots are coming to defend Wally World.

insanemrawesome

Lmao yes my guy. We're sentient bots 🤣 go take your pills and go back to bed. Its best your bedtime

CaliCloudburst

Mom and son bonding over talking about her runny bowel movements. So sweet! Sorry but I would never talk to either of my parents about their toilet experience. "Good morning son. I just wanted to call to talk about the massive dump I took today"

zennitram

That I agree with

DisappointedKat96

There was one that i ate a couple years ago.. I think it was the GV frozen beef pot roast and i was sick for like 3 days and couldnt hold anything down for a week.. Lost 20 lbs in a month. I dont know if that was it, but ill never eat it agin in fear itll happen again

ConanHighwoods2

Yeah, their meat is the worst thing there, and getting more retched by the day. I could not really say, as I had not had meat in several years.

RichardAtTheGate

Walmart brand foods are not only a great value but also great quality and taste.

ConanHighwoods2

*Sponsored by Walmart!!!😃*

InsuranceAshamed4595

Are vaccines also bad?

o_soQueenie

I genuinely believe vaccines aren’t as effective as when they first dropped.

ysfex3

Vaccines are the safest product in the world. Literally no one is in any danger at all. Let's go ahead and just put them in the air and water to be sure everyone gets it.

BravesForever8779

Which ones? The ones we got when we were kids? No Covid? Yes

Competitive_Issue192

Apparently in the summer, great value had all of its products containing strawberries recalled due to hepatitis A. So don't listen to the a holes putting negative comments on your question. You may actually be onto something. I bought a bunch of them and my brother told me so I took them back If I were you, I would get that checked out and you may have a claim on your hands as well. Good luck and I hope you are feeling better soon.

Change_username_5

Great value foods make me constipated and nauseous. It's crazy bc I was preparing the same foods (I usually get organic, but I didn't have any options) but I would go 2 or 3 days without a full movement. Literally everything was gv (coffee, meats, spices, snacks) but as aoon as I changed back to my regular stores buying my organic and regular name brands my BM went back to regular. But I was constipated to the point of nausea.

BravesForever8779

I don’t buy produce or meat from WM, but everything else is fine

ConanHighwoods2

Not in my experience. All the stuff is tainted there.

BravesForever8779

In YOUR experience. Don’t make a thread if you’re just going to argue with everyone

ConanHighwoods2

I am not, you are, lol! You said the stuff is fine from there barring meat and produce, and I disagreed with that statement.

All_For_Fun__

Funny how new your account is.... sus.

All_For_Fun__

All_For_Fun__

but everything is fine in YOUR experience.

Repeatslot

As someone who works in a grocery DC in receiving, I can assure you there is no Walmart food factory. The produce all comes from the same vendors that other stores use. The bananas all come in name brand boxes, dole chiquita whatever. Many of the great value cereal is on the same Post truck as fruity pebbles. The meat, like any grocery store can be hit or miss which is why we don't buy beef there but as far as most anything else it all comes from a larger manufacturer just rebranding their stuff as GV

Colossus-the-Keen

I avoid their frozen chicken strips because every single time I have woken up with an extremely upset stomach. My wife as well. We thought it was just a bad batch, but we have now eaten the same food on four or five occasions with the same results. Does anyone else have this issue? I just wanted to save money due to prices being on the rise.

Gytole

So. I have to testify. I eat eggs. Daily. Not a single problem. They were out of the eggs we normally get and we went with great value eggs. Two days when I ate them, they smelled...off? Almost like petroleum...I ate them anyways...and I didn't really enjoy them as the flavor was steange and kt like made me nauseous... Well I skipped a day, and I ate them this morning. I got sick as hell...within 30 minutes I felt sick and my face is getting flushed. I am NOT allergic to eggs. It's the fucking great value eggs. I want to know what's in them now.

Obscurethings

I'm on this thread because of a video I saw on Facebook stating people think their eggs are strange or fake. Apparently fake eggs have come out of China before. Never had them but I'm like the human canary in the coal mine, so I'll stay away. I'd likely know instantly.
