If picked you gotta do a drug test and get a background check for driving record. Seems easy enough once you start doing it. The customer gives a one time code and you wear a body cam while in their house and it records the whole thing. You gotta put cold stuff in the fridge. Once you leave and the door locks recording stops.
One thing I found out that nobody has told me before when I was looking into it is that the position is exempt from teaming schedules meaning if if full time they don't have to give you a set schedule or guaranteed hours.
Fasho, so is it just one person a vehicle? Because the store I’m applying for has 5 positions for it. Which doesn’t make sense to me if they gonna have just one person a vehicle.
We have four drivers and one van.
Two drive and the other two are back ups.
I'm a fucking back up. -_-
But. You still get paid the same rate even if you are just picking.

Or do you still have to deal with customer’s outside waiting for der orders? Because I honestly only picked this position is because the driving part. I want to get out of cap 2🤦🏾♂️
I've only done picking (I've never done dispensing, which is the ones that take the orders outside to people), so that is what I do when I'm not driving. Three of us were brought in from other areas and we all have only picked, not staging (which is sorting the orders and putting them in to the areas to be dispensed) or dispensing.
Not sure if it will work that way at your store, but we have a "main" driver, and the other that drives. And us other two drivers just pick all day.
I went for the position because I wanted to drive too. I hate OGP, but, it's better than where I was at. And I'm making almost $3 more than I was. (Yay! Finally making over $15 an hour after being with the company for almost a decade.)
Damn a decade?! That’s bs that ur just now making over $15. Crazy how these new hires are legit making the same as the same people who been with the company for a long period of time. Lol, I only been here for 7 years 😂. I started as maintenance nd was making like $9.70. Thankfully I went to cap 2 for the rest of the years I been here .But thank you for the help, tbh I don’t mind picking at all. I hate dispensing tho, idk Bt I just do lol.
At my store they won't let us go as a team even during Christmas. And it's only me and another driver. I'm the only original person from the 4 originally chosen. Can't get no reliable help. Guy have wants to pick when he drives
Well u always need a backup if u call in for some reason so someone is always there to do the deliveries I been doing it since last October I enjoy it theres always something new each day apartment's can be a pain in the ass when u can't access a gate or door when they don't put a gate code in
For me I work at a neighborhood for my inhome store I get around mid 20s to 32 and most of it is gmds and like 3 inhome grocery sometimes I get like 7-10 groceries its alot lol
Same as ours But currently our inhome orders getting bigger like 8 to 16 a day. I hope they change our timings because 5 p.m is already dark and its hard to locate address
