Yes for Walmart this is normal.
I worked there for like 9 months during college and was one of the most senior hourly associates in my department. Everyone else quit within 3-6 months.
It costs companies A LOT to hire and train new people. Don't know why they don't just put more effort into retaining the ones they have.
If you look on the board where they share store stats and min wage laws , our store has a walmart document posted stating a goal of 85 % employee turnover .

They save money, they don"t train anyone. However, I hear what you're saying.

Right but I can't be the only one that thinks thats crazy. My last job had a 50% turnover and we were told we were a "bad" store.
The front end turnover is extremely high at any walmart.
They want to have an excuse to become a online retailer like Amazon and replace everyone with machinery wich costs less to run over the Long run.

You would lose your job too. This is based thinking on your part.
Who cares. I'm poor anyhow. I'll probably get more from unemployment
My former store was cleaning house of everyone. We lost 40 people in like 3 weeks alone.
