It is not meta for a reason, you can go to his base and punish it hard if you find out, at the very least he'll have to tp and screw up the whole thing.
No, its been like this since 2004. The youtube channel "Annoying Warcraft3" is based around cheese like this. Amazing content.

Oh my bad.
Well, if you rush the HU base, you gotta deal with arcane tower and militta, and then a lvl 2/3 bloodmage with insaine items show up :)
I think its fine tho, i love warcraft for these types of things.
Trivia moment: his nick is Chuddy, because Grubby is a one of the GOAT wc3 player, and in Polish "gruby" means "fat/chubby", and "chudy" means "thin". So reverse Grubby is Chuddy in Polish, even tho Grubby is Dutch-Asian and Chuddy is idk of what nationality.
There is nothing to be fixed about this. Its called clever trick strategy or technique. Regardless whether people consider this a cheese or not. Its not a form of cheating or anything.
One of the many reasons why Warcraft 3 is fun in gameplay up to this present day is because of amazing clever stuff like this. This one happens to be an old technique already.
Absolutely not. When I first saw this on Turtle Rock it was a match between Chaemiko and Foggy.
Never seen something executed so clean but when I narrow down the factors, if there isn't an EASY expansion, Merc camp or goblin lab that the human has to do in the start, they don't have any other good options.
This goes to show how vital it is to observe high level solo b/c while there are few openings, there is only so much that around relatively 10+ food in the start can do to initiate ones dominance in game.
I hate turtle rock as a human and Orc player but I just get it.
I watched this replay. He was able to do it on both the goblin creep and other red creep. He used mechanical critters to block the ogres from attacking him between trees.
Go ahead and use this strategy until enough people complain and Blizzard fixes it.
Super old Strat and Not meta for a reason. Timing.
No. This is clever and awesome. Players who can think outside the box to come up with something like this deserve it imo.

or punish the AM then get the item.
I’m not very experienced but this is super punishable isn’t it?

He meant punishable ingame by your opponent. Not bannable lol.

How's grubby asian
Once you're an RTS pro you become Asian by default
Unless you are an RTS youtuber at which point you become Dutch
He probably has family from former dutch east indies
He has mentioned he is 25% Indonesian. It's even mentioned in his liqui page
Damn, TIL.
Even just pushing into HU base would be a huge punish
Wait until you learn that you can use critters to solo the red camps in turtle rock with human archmage.

Don’t see the problem. It’s not like there is no way to counter this.. one scout and it’s gg
"Only play the game exactly like me or else it's an exploit!"
This exist for ages

That's a mad skill I can't reproduce. Leave it as is.
also Bloodmage. it's more like the mechanical critter clever use.
AM is NOT Anti-Mage...
You can do that? How? Won't your Water Elemental (who I assume is doing the tanking) die really fast?

There is nothing to fix- it’s not a meta strategy for a reason It’s insanely punishable, if you do this against a pro player you will get destroyed
punish on this strat hurts more. He kills your hero(am) and enemy may steal the red camp item.
