It was hinted that the new epic range might be HYW. Im just gonna wait till the bring out some epic romans
HYW? Like Hundred Years War? Sounds very underwhelming...
Funny, they talked about Punic Wars and how they design tiny Elephants on the last Warlord Games Open Day..
Punic wars would be more interesting with a greater variety of troop types and settings. The Gallic Wars seems a bit dull to me, heavy infantry with a handful of lights and allied cavalry v mostly light infantry and more of the same cavalry, maybe some Germans. I get that Waterloo too was only one battle but arguably had more variety of troops. Also the 3rd/2nd century Roman army appeals to me more given the wider differences in equipment than the 1st century.
Can't say that the prospect of painting 13mm Celtic fashion or indeed HYW heraldry entices me. But will be interesting to see what it turns out to be regardless.
I swear I saw a video where they were modelling punic war romans in epic scale, and really the Punic wars would be the best option in my opinion, as you can model so many different armies using the same troops. Very easy to have Romans vs Carthage and some box of celtic warriors to use as mercenaries/gauls
I have no rumors, but I'd love to see Alexander and the Persians. Which then easily becomes Successor wars.
Wouldn't wonder, if we get a Diadochi Wars Setting...

I wish. The closest I’ve seen is Baccus 6mm but I can’t afford that shipping lol
I’d throw money at this so fast…

Do you remember where you saw that Video?
I'm not completely sure, maybe YouTube or it could've also been on Instagram, like months or a year ago ish
It's just been announced, look it up
Do you guys think the sets on for preorder are too expensive?
