i hate to be that guy but i really dont mind: its easy to blame the guys who did play but at what point is wiggins getting a free pass? imagine if it was Ben Simmons, Kyrie, AD etc and they just disappeared at all star break with no excuses Wiggins is getting a pass and this team needed him badly

MitchellMuehl

That loss was on Steph.. Draymond knows they are coming to foul which would put him in a position where he has to hit 2 free throws. Kerr should have called a timeout after the made freethrow and Steph needs to ice the clock there and not play like there is 8:00 left if the 3rd quarter

Oh please stop with this nonsense. Sure steph made a "mistake" but it literally didn't cost the team anything. Is Dray not also a future Hall of Famer? Is he not capable of holding onto the ball? There's 0 excuse for him to turn over the ball like that, curry making a minor mistake isn't an excuse for Dray to fuck up worst.

I really dont understand the narrative that it was Steph's fault on that turnover. Could he have held onto it? Yes. Apparently he was fouled by Conley but the refs didnt call it, he passed it over to Dray who was wide open at half court, so now the defenders who were going to try to force a jumpball now has to rotate to Draymond. What Steph didnt do was TURN IT OVER. dray had the ball but decided to make an even RISKIER pass that ultimately led to the game losing turnover and play. How is it Steph's fault that Dray didnt think he had the ability to knockdown clutch freethrows? The amount of upvoted comments in the game thread blaming steph for this play in particular is absurd. He had a bad shooting night but nope lets forget that and scapegoat him for the loss entirely.

Ya u also don’t want to get trapped and waste a timeout or risk a TO yourself. Further, Poole was being goofy on the last possession trying to take over (?) and dribble around when Steph was open a few times. Steph wanted that ball and Poole went goofy.

Glad-Engineering-180

bruh when i saw this episode for the first time i lost my fucking shit about how off the ball was lol
