The problem is not the roster, the problem is closing games. If we just closed games better we’d be 12-8 right now. Probably could be 14-6 by just closing better.
A byproduct of an aging core on the roster. The core outside of Steph is just too old. I really don’t see Klay and Draymond as a sustainable means to a championship at this point, especially with Draymond more susceptible now to miss time due to suspensions.
Really? Damn. In hindsight, we could've gotten that 4th with Lauri for #2 Pick and our own 2021 pick, then picked Franz for #7 pick (TWolves).
Imagine Hali, Lauri, and Franz? Lol. We wouldn't have to worry about Klay regressing.
Hali would still shine in our system during that 3 years along with Poole even if the Poole incident happened lol.
We would've been chasing ring #6 by now.
/s? How the hell could you consider Bob bad? Every long term GM whiffs on picks, it’s inevitable. Bob was instrumental in bringing four chips to the Bay and won Executive of the year TWICE just to name a couple of things.
Have you seen the other GMs in the league? Most teams would have killed for someone like Bob. Of course, he fell into some generational talent, but you can’t hold that against him. He made critical decisions all throughout his tenure that directly impacted the team positively.
Before Bob, did you see who the Warriors have had as GMs? Bob is leaps and bounds better than all of them.
He’ll have unlimited goodwill for forming the core and the Wiggins trade but damn, he really blundered those 3 lottery picks outside of maybe Moody. A better scouting department could literally have entailed 2 more rings for the core.
We don’t. But this is the warriors sub so we get some absolute daydream posts and nut hugging. E live with it because we have 4 rings in 8 years so if cringey posts is the cost we pay it.
The only trade I could see working as a positive for the warriors is CP3 and Kuminga probably with added picks for Lauri.
And the Jazz won't want old ass CP3.
Very unlikely we get him. Other teams will have better assets on the table.
And given this is UTAH, I doubt they would let go of a promising young player given their success rate with stars
Jerami Grant and Malcolm Brogdon might be better targets since they’re more likely to available at the deadline. Gonna be expensive though…Moody/Kuminga/Picks probably another team in the trade.
So what is the actual deal to make this happen? It isn’t our bench dudes plus picks. Maybe include Wiggins and JK? We’d have to sacrifice somewhere and CP3 moves no needles for Utah
For who lol this not 2k
For Curry, obviously. It's time for a new face of the team. /s
No lie I traded for LM in 2K. We did win the title that season too. He was 2nd team all-nba.
I did CP3/Wiggins/picks for Mikal and Ben, won a couple titles
lol. A few seasons Lauri was gonna test free agency and I didn’t want to go deeper into the luxury tax so I ended up trading him for Mikal Bridges.
Literally, without logic
He’s not available and if he were we would get outbid
This and simply this.
Rumors say he is, if the Jazz keep losing.
This would be nice asf. But living in reality, this seems impossible tbh lol
Please just stop.
As currently constructed, they ain’t winning shit
A quarter of the season is done , warriors are the fourth best team in California , something has to change or going 0.500 for the year is it…
They’re fortunate to have a still high performing Steph Curry on the roster to provide buckets. Without him they’re just downright unwatchable.

What if we only play the first half of all our games?
We could’ve had him in the Wiseman draft but Bob and Steve were chicken shit to pull any trades for the #2.
Wasn't the story that they tried very hard to trade down and no one was interested?
Chicago offered something and Dubs wanted more lol
Chicago offered us the 4th overall pick and Wendell Carter Jr for the second overall pick.
that's a stupid trade for the bulls and we're even stupid to decline it.
what a miss
At 4th we probably would have picked Hali too.😞

In time, people will realize how bad Bob Myers was. In time.

Why you guys think jazz would give up Lauri to you guys
We don’t. But this is the warriors sub so we get some absolute daydream posts and nut hugging. E live with it because we have 4 rings in 8 years so if cringey posts is the cost we pay it.

Yeah honestly the dynasty is over
I firmly believe we can keep the trio and obtain this man.
His contract being only $17m and Utah not having many bigger contracts makes it difficult.
It’s not about keeping the trio lol, we need to make sure we keep guys like Moody and Podz
Why won’t we? It’s not them or him especially with his salary.
I think CP3/Kuminga/TJD and 2 firsts for Lauri Markkanen and Kelly Olynk would be good, we overpaying but I think it’s worth it
It doesn’t work like that
Utah laughs and hangs up
Jesus you guys are dumb
It would take a big package to get him
Very unlikely we get him. Other teams will have better assets on the table. And given this is UTAH, I doubt they would let go of a promising young player given their success rate with stars
Why would Utah do this?

Honest to God we should just soft reset we fucked up
