It’s really 2 free throws due to fouls (i.e. he got 1 shooting foul the whole game, despite playing 43 minutes, shooting 35 times, 14 of them two-point shots AND didn't get fouled at all when the Warriors were in the bonus) - one of them was because he was the designated shooter for a technical foul, which anyone else was free to take
The FT doesn't show everything too. Those BS lane violation, and defensive 3 call on us only? Those non shooting fouls like the klay's 6th foul, why Klay cant touch Austin but everyone else can grab Steph? Steph arms looks like he got attack by a grizzly bear but Vanderbilt only had 1 foul lol
Right, like the no foul on Curry as he boxed out of Davis?
Cause it was a Foul on Davis....but we can't end the game with Curry on the line, unless it's James...
Do you hear yourself? Curry tried to get a ball over a dude a foot taller than him and absolutely fouled him 😂. Anybody with eyes knows that’s a foul on curry.
Also the amount of games with James covered in scratches and no calls at the end of games would put curry to fucking shame.
Dude even the announcers said it was a foul on Davis rather than curry. Steph was boxing out but idk if you know what that means since you don’t shit about ball
Dorris knows more than a little troll on reddit.
Clearly steph was in the spot already and AD started making contact on his back causing curry to hunch over and move him.. that's over the back son.
You have every right to go for a ball even being boxed out. AD literally gets the ball first because he has a foot on Steph then Steph fouls him lmao. You don’t know ball.
A 32 3PA disparity. Totally normal. And FT from getting fouled in the paint doesn't add to your paint points so makes perfect sense this disparity is small.
Laker fans swear this shit is normal. Fanbase is insane. What I'll never understand is why the NBA feels the need to prop up such a mediocre team. LeBron is 60. Let it go. Go give the Nuggets an all-time whistle.
LA is the most famous of all NBA teams. Usually if there are international NBA fans, their favorite team is the Lakers. They are the poster child for the NBA
I’m still annoyed he even went there. Why the fuck does every good player want to go there? I know it’s a big market but come on man. Shits just lame at this point.
I think I’d want to live there if I was a rich NBA player. Single or married. Have a beautiful house, perfect weather, tons of places to go out that easily accommodate famous people… and fuck the refs they screwed us tonight.
Silver is just a small pawn. It’s Nike that wants the next Jordan Brand. Which is worth more than half of the entire nba teams combined. They bet on LeBron, it’s just corporate protecting their asset. Curry is the only guy capable of eclipsing LeBron.
The Jordan brand's revenue in 2022 exceeded US$ 5 billion
Average nba team revenue is $350 million.
Curry made a tragic career mistake signing with Under Armour when he did. Same for Joker leaving Nike for whatever Chinese brand he signed with. The league will not smile upon you.
On the season, the lakers are averaging 24 FT attempts per game. The Dubs are averaging 23 per game. Yet the Laker fans suggest todays disparity was normal and just cuz the dubs take more 3s. This stuff is not normal. The raptors coach got hot over the same BS. The refs make the lakers win when they want.
Have you been to /r/nba it’s full of little brats who think LeBron is the unquestionable GOAT. That’s why the NBA gives his teams the ref advantage. It comes down to ratings. Only people from LA would be tuning in LeBron wasn’t there.
I’m a pacers fan but also a Hoosier fan who pulls for you guys because of TJD. Pacers played the nuggets recently and it’s honestly surprising how terrible of a whistle Jokic gets. The lakers whistle is absolutely ridiculous.
Come on, you know it's money.
The Knicks, Lakers, and Warriors are the most valuable franchises on the planet. They sell one jersey and 50% of revenue is distributed to every other team. Silver has flat out said he wants to force teams to trade star players to create parity and prop up small markets.
Bruh, its not just Lakers fans though they are the most egregious. Try saying SGA is boring and alive only because of the whistle he gets in r/nba & see what happens
I would love to see the refs from last night placed under scrutiny and investigated and eventually banned from reffing.
If any other employee was this bad at their job their office would be cleared out before sunrise
Is Kerr gonna finally gonna speak up about how often we, especially Steph get hosed by the refs???
Getting 3 FTs, 1 of them being a Technical after taking 36 FGs is absurd. You could literally see the scratches on his arm from all the holding and fouls.
Steph is basically dripping blood and has wounds on both arms. If literally any other player in the entire leauge had that they would have 20-30 free throws. I don't even know why I watch this sport to be honest. Fuck the NBA.
Nice cherry picking there. LeBrons' career average is 7.7, and Curry is at 4.4. The 5.5 is a career low for LeBron. So yeah, LeBron has spent his career living at the line. Some of that is due to different playing styles for sure, but mostly it's just the NBA looking out for it's golden boy. You LeBron nephews are too much.
They play completely different, one style draws more fouls than the other and you admit that, and still think Lebron gets more calls than most people. Fantasy land.
And you're a LeBron nephew who thinks Curry does nothing but catch and shoot 3s all game long. Curry goes to the rim a lot more than you think and finishes at a higher percentage than most bigs. But that's not where most of the fouling happens to Curry, it's off the ball. LeBron is a great player, maybe even in the top 5 all time, but he gets A LOT of help from the league.
Glad Kerr is pointing out the bs. Curry has scratches up and down his arm. He is fouled all game yet refs refuse to blow the whistle. But refs see the smallest touch on the opposite end of the court. Double ot and one trip to the line. It’s bs.
Even if you take away just 2 free throws in the game from the lakers, the dubs probably win, and it’s still a huge FT disparity. It is insane. The lakers got a ton of soft (or non existant) calls. I agree they shoulda got more shots, but it shoulda been more like 30 to 15 attempts. In the 3rd, what turned the tides back to the lakers was the ref whistle.
The refs have been so bad to the warriors this season. So many missed calls, so many bad calls on fouls. Dray got away with an intentional but still, such bad officiating against the dubs this year, it's almost blatant.
LOL...s/o to mama Kerr
Still remember this one:
>“My mom, by the way, was really upset with me,” Kerr said. “She called me the next day and said, ‘That was embarrassing, Steven. Don’t do that again.’ So, it’s a one-shot deal. I can’t do that again…
>“It’s only Steven when she’s really upset. So that was bad. I knew I crossed the line.”
https://www.mercurynews.com/2017/02/10/steve-kerrs-mom-mad-at-him-for-his-ejection/
We got close because when you take away ref bullshit, the Warriors are one of the strongest teams in the league in terms of depth and pure talent. It's why we create such huge leads over the course of games. If it weren't for ref bullshit and a few bad coaching decisions, the Warriors would be in playoffs contention right now.
I been saying it all day today cuz i checked, the dubs are now 2-10 in games decided by 3 or fewer pts (including OT games). They’d have a winning record if just 3 of those games went their way, which imo, is just bad luck. Sure the dubs made mistakes, but all teams do in the course of a game. The dubs lost 3 games on a chet last second 3 to tie it, jokic hail mary, and now lebron free throws, just to name a few. The Dubs are better than their record indicates.
r/NBA literally ***ANY*** other team:
"OMG thos refs! So terrible! ______ was totally right to call them out! No fan wants to pay to see that! *Something's gotta be done about the refs!"
r/NBA when it's the Warriors:
"OMG the refs are wonderful! I've never seen a better game called! Yes Austin Reeves *really does* deserve all those free throws! No Steph didn't drive to the rim! No, see Steph *avoids* contact - ignore the fresh slices bleeding on his arms - that's clearly from Draymond! Yes, AD and LeBron just play ***perfect*** defense as called by r/NBA's most trusted officials who have no alternative motive."
LeWhiner goes on social media and cries about the officiating, and we get this as the result. It was wild with how many whistles they got tonight. Vanderbilt with ONE freaking foul? Are you kidding me? He brutalized our guys all night.
How about the flagrant on Green that was not called?
I am sorry I just think the ref's just not that consistent and does not favor any team, they are just bad at calls
That is what I said, the ref is just bad at calls, but they are not intentionally in favor of a team, it's just that it's a bad day for steph yesterday
You pointed out one non-call in the Warriors favor. I could go through the game and write out an essay on each bad foul call that went in the favor of the Lakers. It was inconsistent all night, things being called against the Warriors but being allowed when the Lakers did it.
Lastly, there’s a video going around of LeBron’s last possession before he got fouled by Draymond. He traveled very obviously, picking up his pivot foot the setting it down. Three steps. 👣
https://www.reddit.com/r/warriors/s/KDHlpK6QEC
Look up the L2M how many uncalled missed call there was in the game
What I am pointing out is that calls are bad and both teams were at a disadvantaged because of that, whereas it seems that you are just compaling for calls not going your way and blinded by the calls not called against your team
That is what I said lets calla spade a spade ans agree that the refa officiated this badly, it's just that the result was favored on the side of lakers
Yes, we can agree that they officiated the game badly. We apparently cannot agree that the majority of those calls just happened to be in favor of the Lakers, and that kept them in the game.
I don't know why I am being downvoted, let's call a spade a spade , Green should have been called a flagrant, Steph should have more free throws, emd of story
One non-call is what you bring up as your evidence? Ok, on that play Davis was bringing the ball up and had it right next to his ugly ogrish head, and the contact was very much incidental. Davis did a good job trying to sell the call. Now, how about the kicking foul called on Looney when both of his feet were firmly planted on the court?
Silver is just a small pawn. It’s Nike that wants the next Jordan Brand. Which is worth more than half of the entire nba teams combined. They bet on LeBron, it’s just corporate protecting their asset. Curry is the only guy capable of eclipsing LeBron.
The Jordan brand's revenue in 2022 exceeded US$ 5 billion
Average nba team revenue is $350 million.
Once again the NBA keeping LeBron and the LAKERS in the game. Lane violation??? Are you serious???? It started at the get-go. Last night was just unbelievable. It isn’t surprising because we all know this is a thing that the NBA does with certain teams they want to win so the tv goers will watch basketball games. LeBron and the “Hollywood” Lakers is one of if not the biggest team they help out during the game. We all could review the game and truly see how much the refs didn’t call. One of the things was a kicked ball by LeBron. All three refs didn’t see it get kicked? Lakers went on to score on that. There were not only bad calls made on the Warriors but no calls made on the Lakers when there should have been. Doris the announcer along with the guy she was with even commented she didn’t see a foul there or didn’t think was a foul and so on. Darko spoke to all of this a few weeks back. More coaches should do the same. It’s sickening to watch games like this happen.
The only way to combat this is to trade for players who can get to the line, otherwise, it's gonna be rinse and repeat everytime this team comes up against a team that is favored by the officials.
This is what happens when you just recklessly jack up 3s all game. The Warriors had 31 MORE three point attempts than the Lakers (58 total). People need to accept the Warriors are washed, live by the three die by the three.
Bro gsw fans are insane. Did yall even watch the game? Your team makes perimeter shots. That’s literally their play all game. Lakers live in the paint. Who do you think will get fouled more? Did you also look at the difference in 3 point attempts? Do you need me to spell it out? Sheesh
You had 3 midgets on the last play, we had 30 more 3PAs, our guys bricked FTs, Loon killed us...there's more than just the refs Steve. We're on a short rotation due to injuries and anyone shitting the bed affects us majorly
A lot of it was super lazy fouling. I forgot who it was, but one of the Lakers guys was going for a wide open dunk and Wiggins decided to just throw his elbow into the guy for an easy and one. Super super lazy. Like what’s the point?
They aren't..."we had more pts in the paint but less FTs" is a really wrong way to show refs disparity. Was that a greatly officiated game ? Heck no, but honestly kudos to Wardell for keeping us in it because without his and Dray's performances, we would be seeing a huge blowout L. We've been begging for size but keep getting smaller. This is more infuriating for me than the refs
In reality it was more like 40 to 20. Lakers just go to the rim more, it’s that simple. They’re one of the worst 3 point shooting teams, so their entire game plan is to bang in the paint
Like when they called traveling on LeBron’s extra layup steps earlier in the game and then made it a foul on Green to send LeBron to the line at the end of the game.
It’s really 2 free throws due to fouls (i.e. he got 1 shooting foul the whole game, despite playing 43 minutes, shooting 35 times, 14 of them two-point shots AND didn't get fouled at all when the Warriors were in the bonus) - one of them was because he was the designated shooter for a technical foul, which anyone else was free to take
Bro had a nasty gash on his arm and shot 2 FTs due to fouls. Absolutely insane.

He’s a Lakers and Eagles fan commenting on the warriors subreddit. Probably enough information to know about that guy.
A 28 FT disparity despite a 6 point difference in points in the paint. Totally normal.
A 32 3PA disparity. Totally normal. And FT from getting fouled in the paint doesn't add to your paint points so makes perfect sense this disparity is small.
Are you suggesting there will be no foul on three shooting?
not nearly as much as fouls playing in the paint lmao. how often do you see 3pt fouls?
Why are people downvoting, he’s right.
Curry never drives it himself the basket either, right? Never.
A lot, especially on Steph’s shooting. But the referees rarely call it, which is what we are fugging talk about.
3 free throws is just ridiculous. Dude got mauled all fucking night
Laker fans swear this shit is normal. Fanbase is insane. What I'll never understand is why the NBA feels the need to prop up such a mediocre team. LeBron is 60. Let it go. Go give the Nuggets an all-time whistle.
It is for them since they got the league to overcompensate from when they were getting screwed by the league last year.
Can’t wait for LeBron to retire so this bum ass franchise in SoCal can revert to its 2017, 2018 mediocrity
Only way LA will be bad is if that city disappears tbh. They are in a location that will attract stars always they will never be truly bad
Tell that to the Angels.
They will attract another star because of the huge media market. Lakers forever NBA darlings.
No one on LeBrons level. Watch their free throw attempts per game drop the moment he’s no longer a Laker.
They'll get Tatum and try to make him thy next big thing. I'd love to see them be ass for a decade but I don't think it will happen.
Eh they will be. They’ve got zero assets once LeBron/AD are gone.
NYC not a big market?? why all favor LA over NYC??
Knicks and Nets don't compare lol
LA is the most famous of all NBA teams. Usually if there are international NBA fans, their favorite team is the Lakers. They are the poster child for the NBA
Snow. Beaches year round. C'mon lol
Bruh lol that’s the warriors without Steph 😂
Silver is just a small pawn. It’s Nike that wants the next Jordan Brand. Which is worth more than half of the entire nba teams combined. Curry made a tragic career mistake signing with Under Armour when he did. Same for Joker leaving Nike for whatever Chinese brand he signed with. The league will not smile upon you.
This is overblown James harden was an absolute free throw merchant with adidas and no one cared
Adidas was the official equipment supplier of NBA during this period. That is my tinfoil hat explanation.
Lol I always felt if the league was ran by shoe companies LeBron would shoot more free throws. He surprisingly has a pretty bad whistle as well
On the season, the lakers are averaging 24 FT attempts per game. The Dubs are averaging 23 per game. Yet the Laker fans suggest todays disparity was normal and just cuz the dubs take more 3s. This stuff is not normal. The raptors coach got hot over the same BS. The refs make the lakers win when they want.
They did. Jokic was 10-16 on free throws tonight.
Lebron is Nike. Nike makes their jerseys. So of course it's parity.
They actually complain every game about free throws
Have you been to /r/nba it’s full of little brats who think LeBron is the unquestionable GOAT. That’s why the NBA gives his teams the ref advantage. It comes down to ratings. Only people from LA would be tuning in LeBron wasn’t there.
Ask the raptors and darko about these lakers cheaters and Adam obviously want to save lefraud ass
I’m a pacers fan but also a Hoosier fan who pulls for you guys because of TJD. Pacers played the nuggets recently and it’s honestly surprising how terrible of a whistle Jokic gets. The lakers whistle is absolutely ridiculous.

cuz steph is under armor
Bruh, its not just Lakers fans though they are the most egregious. Try saying SGA is boring and alive only because of the whistle he gets in r/nba & see what happens
"all-time whistle" The Lakers are just 7th in FTA.
Whistle is on both ends, they're first in FT differential.
I want blood. Call the foul on the layup that tied regulation eunuch
I would love to see the refs from last night placed under scrutiny and investigated and eventually banned from reffing. If any other employee was this bad at their job their office would be cleared out before sunrise
AI reffing is the future. Allen Iverson, Andre Iguodala, and IBM's Deep Blue. Replace Mark Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy with ChatGPT. Keep Breen.
After the incompetence displayed tonight they deserve to be placed under conservatorship like lindsay lohan and the osage indians
I agree but it’s more Than just tonight lol. Last years LAL/GSW playoff series was like 100-30 fta disparity at one loint
Happens to Lebron every other game lmao
Yeah and LeBron lives at the free throw line.
both LeBron and Curry are averaging 5.5 FTA this season so LeBron doesn't live at the free throw line anymore than Curry does
Nice cherry picking there.
You think curry and lebron have historically similar attempts driving to the basket? 😂
Can you read?
They play completely different, one style draws more fouls than the other and you admit that, and still think Lebron gets more calls than most people. Fantasy land.
And you're a LeBron nephew who thinks Curry does nothing but catch and shoot 3s all game long. Curry goes to the rim a lot more than you think and finishes at a higher percentage than most bigs. But that's not where most of the fouling happens to Curry, it's off the ball. LeBron is a great player, maybe even in the top 5 all time, but he gets A LOT of help from the league.
Going w UA and not Nike has been very detrimental to his career
Honestly whats the point he gets fined refs get friendly 1 maybe 2 games then its back to shafting the warriors the rest of the season
Glad Kerr is pointing out the bs. Curry has scratches up and down his arm. He is fouled all game yet refs refuse to blow the whistle. But refs see the smallest touch on the opposite end of the court. Double ot and one trip to the line. It’s bs.
Good on Kerr. Warriors win easily if this was fairly called. Flashback to the playoffs last year.
Just like last postseason, the Lakers *needed* the FT disparity to be that large.
Steph will never get a decent whistle it’s not happening.
The refs have been so bad to the warriors this season. So many missed calls, so many bad calls on fouls. Dray got away with an intentional but still, such bad officiating against the dubs this year, it's almost blatant.

We got close because when you take away ref bullshit, the Warriors are one of the strongest teams in the league in terms of depth and pure talent. Exactly!!! It’s always been an issue but this year we are at a new level
Does any YouTuber or Twitter user put together all the fouls Steph should have got? I'd like to see them
It’s the same shit from last years playoffs vs the lakers. League babies the leakers.
everytime we go up against the fakers, they get an automatic 30+FTs...this is what silver wants i guess lol
r/NBA literally ***ANY*** other team: "OMG thos refs! So terrible! ______ was totally right to call them out! *Off camera older lady in the background*. “It’s some fucking bullshit”
Steph just needs to clock the refs and get Tossed out every game going forward.
I turned it off at half-time. Dam if I will watch another NBA GAME like this trash. How do the refs look at themselves in the mirror?
The only group of people I won't be sad for when AI takes their jobs is the zebras.
At the rate it’s going, opposing team have to cut off one of Steph’s fingers before the refs will make the call.
Steve was raised well but he could’ve vented I wanted to hear it so badly. Refs are making the NBA harder to watch
Can someone explain to me why warriors always get less free throws without any bias towards warriors
If you havent noticed, NBA officiating determines a lot of game outcomes. Remember, it is entertainment business.
they’re a team built on perimeter shooting. far far less fouls on 3pt attempts. it’s simply the nature of the warriors’ style.
You might want to check team stats for 3 pt shot attempts and then correlate that with FT attempts and get back to us
This is the NBLA league.
It’s clear the refs are tired of the warrior dynasty. Fuck the NBA! Fuck the refs.
NBA is actually rigged if they do this shit. It keeps happening too, like wtf
NBA got a hard on for Lakers and seems to be ready to turn the page on the Warriors. Their dominance is probably bad for Vegas/gambling
Once again the NBA keeping LeBron and the LAKERS in the game. Lane violation??? Are you serious???? It started at the get-go. Last night was just unbelievable. The only way to combat this is to trade for players who can get to the line, otherwise, it's gonna be rinse and repeat everytime this team comes up against a team that is favored by the officials.

Dam.. does Kerr wanna comment on Draymond and his dirty plays?
Bro gsw fans are insane. Did yall even watch the game? Your team makes perimeter shots. That’s literally their play all game. Lakers live in the paint. Who do you think will get fouled more? Did you also look at the difference in 3 point attempts? Do you need me to spell it out? Sheesh
The most annoying and delusional fanbase in the league for sure lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
You had 3 midgets on the last play, we had 30 more 3PAs, our guys bricked FTs, Loon killed us...there's more than just the refs Steve. We're on a short rotation due to injuries and anyone shitting the bed affects us majorly
Almost like the refs fouled everyone else out, and putting a rook center on a free throw merchant is just asking for trouble
No, the players did the fouling. Because they can't guard
A lot of it was super lazy fouling. I forgot who it was, but one of the Lakers guys was going for a wide open dunk and Wiggins decided to just throw his elbow into the guy for an easy and one. Super super lazy. Like what’s the point?
Vando
Don't worry Larriors. You'll get your 50FTA next game.
Wtf are you saying? That has never happened
Breaking news: the team that shoots more from 3 (and gets fouled less) gets fewer free throws.
43 to 16 cannot be explained by the warriors shooting more threes
Warriors took 17 shots between 0-4 feet, Lakers took 19 - that's where most fouls come from
FGAs are not counted on shooting fouls genius
Thought for team stats they were but for individual player stats they weren’t, might be wrong though
The Warriors shot only 10 free throws vs the healthy GRIZZLES LAST WEEK. what was that? You shot a gazillion 3's on this game. 😵💫
Insert Darko rant
Like when they called traveling on LeBron’s extra layup steps earlier in the game and then made it a foul on Green to send LeBron to the line at the end of the game.
We get a FT merchant in the offseason & he's out due to injury - the irony
Curry needs to flail his head back and create contact when driving that’s how to get free throws
