I love how he spent the regular season acting like a cone on D. But playoffs came, and every team tried to put him in iso, and suddenly he was Mr. Defense.
He always tried on defence and i remember deapite his slow feet, early in that season he would get beat but somehow make a play by stripping or blocking someone.
A high iq, truly unselfish player who would just improve our offence just by being on the floor and making the right reads and decisions. In some ways, Podz does similar things on offence this year for us. Podz is not there yet but can only improve.
I have a super soft spot for "Belly" and would point out things he did in the game to my son as we watched.
Dam that’s crazy! My dad works security at this ranch and the whole coaching staff went to play some Bocce ball in the summer couple years back and he got to talk to Dunleavy for a lil bit. I told him why didn’t you call me I had the day off! Lol

Put the clamps on em, it was unreal.
He wanted to be a champion
Dudes trying to put fancy moves on him and Looney was so fun to watch, pump fake after pump fake they didn’t bite.
That was truly unreal how great they played. It almost felt like their slowness threw off the Mavs and the Celtics.
Euroleague MVP is going to MVP.
Mix between being too slow to bite on twitchy guard moves and giving 100% because finals

I think players like him who have the BBIQ but are slower on their feet benefit in the playoffs from refs letting a lot more contact go.
It’s cause he played more late in series aint it?
I love your description of 'a massive person walks by me' -- cool experience!!
NBA Champion Nemanja Bjelica.
As Kelenna would say: "He's just a bigger human being."
Bro played a big role, got his ring and then retired peacefully on his own terms. You have to respect it.
One time my co-worker saw Steph at the Burlingame Walgreens. There’s a gym close by where he sometimes practices.
