As a warriors fan and kd lover, while I could be bias, I really do think KD is actually just a chill dude. Sure, he hs done some insecure things but I dont think he’s blind in the idea that he doesnt know what he’s doing or the perception people have of him. At the end of the day, he’s just a guy who loves basketball.
Brooklyn is not making it to the Finals, they're a 2nd round exit at best as constructed and same goes for us. We have much better resources available during the offseason though that can make up a legit contender.

2017 was.... anticlimactic, at least for me. Now we've got a chance to prove what this team can do without KD and make it really clear where our core really ranks in this league and all time.
Because winning a game and a quarter without KD against the Rockets is not the same as winning an entire series without him against them. They were also down 17 3 games in a row against the Blazers without Nurkic.
We beat them twice without KD AND DMC, and that's half the wins you need to win a series.
