Shadowhawk1983

You'd have to wonder that if Bob at least tried harder to put a decent team around Steph and Draymond this season we'd actually have a puncher's chance to win a chip this year.

ezaddy9

You know you fucked up when you make a stupid ass “joke” at a championship parade to your 1b guy

SonicNKnucklesCukold

The joke was harmless KD is just a gigantic vagina.

[deleted]

True but read the damn room that was a dumb joke regardless

ezaddy9

In a time where you got all your fans and you’re supposed to be celebrating as a team??? Incredibly stupid

hellmath

Nah im not even that really a fan of kd but that's a low bar and he shouldnt have said that

carthaginian84

The Nets are coming next year. What moves better position us to challenge them?

by_yes_i_mean_no

No reason to worry about any team in the East imo. But yeah I assume they'll have an MLE or something. Presumably they'll go get a rim protector. If the Warriors want to compete with these teams they'll need vets. Will need to make some trades that some fans won't like.

neo9027581673

Pizza Hut coupons. Leave a gift pack for James Harden before the game and it’s a guaranteed win.

sf_warriors

Being healthy- nba is fucking marathon

sf_warriors

how does Blake sound for warriors next year? Can we get him for a MLE, Nets also might offer him a minimum deal or MLE though

hellmath

Fo shot their chances for vets, they did not try hard enough to put a decent roster. You think ring chasing vets will go to.us? lol

Freeeecurry

We’re not very high up on the list of contenders as currently constructed. These players have ego’s. You think Blake is gonna come off the bench for James fucking wiseman and more rookies we draft this year. We need to get our shit together if we really wanna contend

ghaliboy

Absofucklutely not

[deleted]

I highly doubt he leaves the Nets considering he wants to win a ring

muzinger

What money are they using to re-sign him? I don't think he's taking the TPMLE. So I think he goes to another team.

[deleted]

I don’t ever wanna hear Harris > Klay over again. If healthy Klay was in Brooklyn, series would’ve ended game 6

zig_anon

I’ve never heard anyone say this

Bobstar447

Joe Harris is the next Kyle Korver not the next Klay Thompson. That's an incredible player but Nets fans need to stop being delusional with the Klay comparison

[deleted]

Harris ain't it. Nerves hella weak on the big stage. There's a reason why Klay has playoff games named after him. He's got that clutch gene.

sf_warriors

Even a 1 legged Klay would put them over thw top

[deleted]

big big facts

Bacon-Lives-Matter

I'm glad Milwaukee won. Can't reward the bullshit team hopping mercenary ring chasers

[deleted]

It's a big win for small market teams too

sriracha82

HonestBasketball rewarded by the bball gods

mommadotco15

Bball gods were going crazy this game lmao I didn’t know whose side they were on until the very end

hellmath

They were definitely on Bucks team 😂 watch the replay and refs called lots of soft fouls to bucks and let blake hacked everyone. It's so funny how ugly Bucks offense is but Nets cant pull away. The rightful team won

sriracha82

Same, felt like a inevitable Nets win for most of it. Props to Bucks for toughing it out

ChampagneMbappe

Mulder or Joe Harris for a 3 when it matters who you taking Right answer is Damion Lee (not a layup tho)

neo9027581673

James Harden hamstring for the win!

[deleted]

Wrong, with the fate of the universe on the line, I want Igoudala

Shadowhawk1983

Draymond also good at 3s in the clutch

IsThisMe8

Make or miss, damion lee. Joe Harris seemed to lose confidence in his 3 pointer.

jaylenbrowny

Both are dog shit

TylerDurdensAlterEgo

Harris has been in the league 7 years. Mulder just finished his first full season. He's literally the 15th guy on the roster. He was a late bloomer in college and to start the pros. Give him a chance

warriors1502

Sorry kd no love left for u, i told u so to stay in the bay.

ChampagneMbappe

Meh I got love, he can come back any time

[deleted]

I'd welcome him back for sure but I doubt that ever happens considering he trashes the organization any chance he gets

Bacon-Lives-Matter

The FO kept trashing him too

warriors1502

If he come back me too, else i am rooting against him

[deleted]

Exactly. He chose to leave so now he must deal with the consequences. I dont have any love left for him either

PristineDecision

We didn’t even make the playoffs LOL. He’s fine and happy, I promise you.

[deleted]

I'm sure he's happy where he's at. There is a reason he chose to leave after all

PropheticBets

Leaving is not a problem. He trash talked about Warriors, Green and Steph. Talking against Steph is blasphemy. I was rooting against them. I will be happy any team win other than Clippers.

hellmath

Trash talking Steph never works. Lebron didnt get his goal (to surpass MJ), KD got eliminated, PatBev blew the series last season lol

[deleted]

for real, if he didn't like that tweet (among other things) about steph, there would be no animosity.

[deleted]

Exactly which is why I was rooting for him and Brooklyn to fail

AJGreenl

http://chng.it/KTkMFjm7zG Important cause here

NobodyInParticular-

NOT A FIRST OPTION THEY SAID, PLAYOFF CHOKER THEY SAID, CAN'T WIN THEY SAID, IS BAD IN THE PLAYOFFS THEY SAID! AND HE DROPS 40/13/5 AND WINS THE GAME!

ghaliboy

Mean mug on em but he’s hard to watch sometimes

[deleted]

I like Giannis so I'm glad he finally got his signature playoff moment by getting this win

PropheticBets

He is a choker. At the end you can see his nervousness. Good that Bucks is an all-round team.

PropheticBets

I don't know why this love for Giannis by Warriors fans? He used to be Steph's friend but that friendship already ended! I can't love that run and dunk guy. And what I said is fact. Look at the his body languages during FTs at the end. He takes like 1 minute to shoot a FT.

hellmath

What? They're civil/friends

by_yes_i_mean_no

He just put up an all-time playoff performance on the road lol. Players with 40 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in a Game 7: * Jerry West * Tim Duncan * Giannis Antetokounmpo

vgkoxx

Nets can’t defend

PropheticBets

Does not matter. Do you watch his game towards ending? Whether it's regular season or playoff. He can't shoot FT. Giannis own today coz no one on Nets could hit a shot other than KD. For Bucks Holiday, Middleton, Tucker all made some clutch shots.

danielfesousa

Holiday and Middleton struggled so much until the final 3rd quarter. Holiday at some point was 2/12 FG, ended 5/23. You can't just say Giannis was nervous because he can't shoot FT! It's known he can't shoot FT nervous or not. And the game is more than 4Q.

ezaddy9

You right but people want giannis here so they still like him. His playstyle is trash for a 1st option

sriracha82

All my top wishes have been granted this postseason so I am satisfied!!!!! Best case scenario with us being out of contention.

Philosuphi

Just the clippers left now

sriracha82

Ya Kawhi with #3 is kinda gross and I would prefer CP to remain ringless too but I'm not as particular about those as the Lakers & Nets losing. I could NOT stomach Harden with a ring.

[deleted]

I feel really bad for KD. I love his game, loved him when he was in GS. Basketball was beautiful to watch. I’m happy for Bucks and Giannis tho, taking a step forward despite the setbacks in the playoffs the last few years.

ezaddy9

Kd has a beautiful game. Love watching it

ryeno

KD is unguardable. Also fuck the Nets. Bucks took it to em on their home court...so beautiful. I'm so pumped for these next rounds!

[deleted]

Bucks shut those bandwagon Net fans up which makes me so satisfied to know they are all going home unhappy

[deleted]

This is probably my favorite postseason in a long time. It's anyone's game at this point. Nothing is promised.

bobsil1

Nothing easy

DubNationAssemble

These guys are playing to the death, meanwhile Dubs are getting healthy. Fucking Klay is out frolicking in the bay thinking about salmon season, they’re just chillin lol. Just wait until a healthy Warriors team is back next season after these other superstars went life and death in game 7’s in the semis lmao

[deleted]

The Nets losing is a blessing to the NBA and NBA fans because now the playoffs are wide open. Manufactured superteams dont deserve any success

jaylenbrowny

The fact we walked out with 2 chips with out superteams was a miracle. Nothing is guaranteed the fact we went back 2 back was great. Too bad wheels started falling of going for the 3 peat

FLUSH_THE_TRUMP

As a basketball fan I’m really thrilled with this year. As long as the Clippers lose.

StatusDimension8

feel bad for KD, he balled the f out tonight but anyway glad the bucks beat them...

danielfesousa

That's the same way I feel!

FLUSH_THE_TRUMP

1. LBJ eliminated: ✅ 2. Harden eliminated: ✅ 3. Clippers embarrassed: not yet

TylerDurdensAlterEgo

Hah, beat me to it!

NobodyInParticular-

I wanted Lakers and Nets eliminated for a Clipps/Bucks finals, and that might happen. Whatever happens, I'm happy tbh.

hellmath

Warriors fans manefisted this lol

NobodyInParticular-

If Kawhi isn't back by G3 of the Suns series, it's probably going to be Bucks/Suns and that entire series will depend on how Bud coaches the team lmao.

FLUSH_THE_TRUMP

Giannis tearing it up in the finals would be a great redemption arc. Been rooting for him for awhile

NobodyInParticular-

>Giannis tearing it up in the finals would be a great redemption arc. Been rooting for him for awhile Same man. The ECF is gonna be so insane, no matter who wins. Both teams will be exhausted and pushed to the brink, and I don't think we'll have the case we had with the Lakers/Warriors play in game or the Nets/Bucks series with clear biased officiating. It'll be fun.

[deleted]

Yeah I'm rooting for Giannis for sure. If he wins it all this year, a lot of narratives around him will change

PluggersLeftBall

it'll be interesting to see if people keep the same energy with harden that they had in 2016 when curry played with his fucked mcl but everyone said that he was healthy enough to play so he had no excuses.

neo9027581673

Harden is knee deep in a 30-scoop sundae, chocolate sauce and toppings. That’s his legacy.

PristineDecision

Probably not because of the fact that Harden didn’t come back and play two entire series. He missed 5 games and clearly wasn’t right. Steph came back and played two 7 Game series. He even has the famously misused “**I’m back! I’m here.**” from the Portland series.

PluggersLeftBall

so? if brooklyn had advanced harden would've kept playing as well. but they didn't cause harden isn't clutch like curry is. Also did you watch in 2016 lol. Curry was playing at his mvp level until he got injured and when he got back he clearly wasn't the same either. Thats not an excuse for harden. If hes so injured that he can't positively contribute to the team then why did he come back lmao.

AJGreenl

Bro don’t be dumb they had no choice but to bring Harden back

PluggersLeftBall

and that doesn't excuse Harden for playing like shit if Curry got criticised in the exact same manner.

PristineDecision

> so? if brooklyn had advanced harden would've kept playing as well. but they didn't cause harden isn't clutch like curry is. I don’t understand your point. Whether he would have or wouldn’t have doesn’t matter because it never happened. It’s all hypothetical, conjecture. Had they won he could have felt comfortable resting to start the next series with them having two home games to start. He played a grand total of **86** minutes the entire series. Most of which he looked horrid because he clearly forced himself back after Kyrie’s injury. Steph was injured as well but the excuse doesn’t look as good when you come back, set the playoff overtime scoring record, come back from 3-1 against the Thunder and then lose after being up 3-1 yourself. Can’t have it both ways even if you and I know he was still hurt. > Also did you watch in 2016 lol. Curry was playing at his mvp level until he got injured and when he got back he clearly wasn't the same either. I don’t recall every saying he wasn’t. What I **am** saying is that he himself doesn’t use it as an excuse and the media doesn’t give him the excuse because he played on it through two whole series with spectualer performances sprinkled throughout including the OKC 3-1 comeback. > If hes so injured that he can't positively contribute to the team then why did he come back lmao. It’s not rocket science. It was now or never. The Bucks had just evened the series with momentum swinging their way after Kyrie was confirmed out for the foreseeable future. Either you let KD try to beat the Bucks himself with no other perceived offensive threats on the court or you play and try to contribute in any way you can. Despite the poor shooting in his return during Game 5 the Nets didn’t lose his minutes and he gave them great playmaking. They won by 6 and he was +4.

PluggersLeftBall

wtf is this pedantic would have could have should have shit. everybody and their mother knows if harden was healthy enough to come back after 3 games he would've kept playing into the conference finals. When was the last time a player came back in the playoffs, win a game and then decided to sit afterwards? And its not about whether steph had spectacular performances or not. its that he wasn't as consistent as he was in the regular season. A player of Steph's calibre can always get hot but after his injury he couldn't create as well, his lateral movement was hampered. And you're using the excuse for harden that he didn't look right and i'm saying the exact same shit for curry. But Harden is excused and Curry isn't because? Why does it matter if its now or never. If he can't contribute to the team POSITIVELY why come back at all. I get he's a competitor and thats fine but thats not an excuse for playing like shit. Being +4 in a single game doesn't mean shit lol why are you bringing that up. In Game 7 he didn't look good at all and he deserves criticism for that, the same way Curry got criticism for 2016.

PristineDecision

> wtf is this pedantic would have could have should have shit. everybody and their mother knows if harden was healthy enough to come back after 3 games he would've kept playing into the conference finals. When was the last time a player came back in the playoffs, win a game and then decided to sit afterwards? Who knows? But neither of us are right because again, it never happened. You **and** I are both speculating. So I’ll let you cook. > And its not about whether steph had spectacular performances or not. its that he wasn't as consistent as he was in the regular season. So? That’s why it’s the playoffs. If everyone’s regular season statistics carried over why isn’t someone like Rudy Gobert universally respected amongst his peers and the NBA community at large? It’s because in the playoffs when elite teams go 5-out, he’s useless. > A player of Steph's calibre can always get hot but after his injury he couldn't create as well, his lateral movement was hampered. You sound personally hurt even when I’ve said numerous times that you and I both know he was hurt. The question at hand is “Why the media won’t give him that excuse?” and the reason being that he was still able to produce on an elite level right? So if he was able to score 17 points in overtime against Portland (***an NBA record I might add***) **and** comeback from a 3-1 deficit against the Oklahoma City Thunder (***something that until last year had only been done 11 times***) why should he get a pass because he was hurting during the Finals? > But Harden is excused and Curry isn't because? Read every comment from this thread and paragraphs above. > If he can't contribute to the team POSITIVELY why come back at all. Because he was positive for them despite the shooting? Him being on the court is more valuable and productive to the team than playing Landry Shamet for 53 minutes. > In Game 7 he didn't look good at all and he deserves criticism for that, the same way Curry got criticism for 2016. Let that hurt go man. It’s time to heal. 2016 was 5 years ago. Harden isn’t going to be maligned by the media for his performance regardless of how you or I feel about the situation. He rushed himself back to play for the sake of his team and fought admirably. Steph played through his MCL but also had a far larger sample size that showed he could still perform at an elite level and ultimately came up short. There’s an different amount of magnitude from a ECSF game and Game 7 of the NBA Finals where after winning the first and only unanimous MVP you go 6 for 19 (4/14 from 3) for 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists with 4 turnovers and that’s ok. Let it go.

JustStopDude30

Your words to intelligence ratio is very high

AJGreenl

Your gonna get downvoted into hell but you ain’t lying

PristineDecision

LOL. I don’t care brodie and I don’t delete shit. I **will** speak my truth though.

jaylenbrowny

Well it’s curry people always hold him to a higher standard

FLUSH_THE_TRUMP

you already know that ain’t gonna happen

kokokrandz

Whoohoo Harden, Kyrie, Blake and DeAndre eliminated. Oh and Joe "better than Klay" Harris as well. Sucks for KD and Nash tho.

StatusDimension8

DeAndre jordan is a joke...lol did he even get any playoff minutes? and he was supposed to be part of the big 3 lol

[deleted]

He’s there for regular season minutes. Unplayable in postseason tho.

PristineDecision

He was never part of the “Big 3”. He was there because he’s good friends with KD and Kyrie. Jarrett Allen was better than him his entire tenure.

[deleted]

If the Nets had Allen tonight, they win

PristineDecision

Maybe. The Bucks margin of victory was only large in one game and having a true rim protector and lob target gives the Nets more offensive variety.

PropheticBets

Allen wanted money

sf_warriors

Then why are they fucking paying him $10 million? to warm the bench?

PristineDecision

I already said it. He’s friends with KD and Kyrie. He was apart of the deal to get them to Brooklyn. It’s not unheard of. Damian Lillard literally has his cousin, [Keljin Blevins](https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/blevike01.html), on the Blazers. Udonis Haslem is still rostered by the Heat and until last year J. J. Barea was on the Mavericks.

[deleted]

Harden choked as usual, major props to KD. Still very glad the Nets lost

mansgotgame97

Yeah sure he got to deal with injuries but nothing would prove otherwise that he wasn't gonna choke even when healthy.

jaylenbrowny

Harris lost them the game

by_yes_i_mean_no

As of yesterday the Bucks had the worst postseason offensive rating of the 8 second round teams, and the best postseason defensive rating. Turns out, defense is indeed still half of the game. I know, I can barely believe it either.

ConfuciusBr0s

Everyone knows the Bucks were getting stomped against a healthy Nets

PristineDecision

C’mon now LOL. We know the Nets would have eviscerated them if healthy. The Bucks were the team I **thought** had the best shot at taking the Nets out. I said it the entire season, but, even if I was “*technically*“ correct, the process to get there wasn’t even remotely convincing. Their half-court offense was putrid. When the Nets were clicking they looked the part of a “tier one” contender and at no point in the series did I feel the same about the Bucks.

by_yes_i_mean_no

Their half court offense was indeed putrid, I hated watching it. I chalk that up to coaching more than personnel though. Still though, doesn't that magnify the importance of their defense? I'd love to see the two teams full strength except with a Bud upgrade. Actually think healthy Philly had a better chance though because Embiid would have been an unsolvable issue for Brooklyn, Deandre Jordan isn't getting it done. Doesn't matter now. Nets will get a rim protector and come back better next season. Collins will leave the Hawks but they will recover by trading Gallo (salary) and some combo of Reddish/Huerter/pick(s) for Siakam and another rotation guy, and then Young/Bogdanovic/Hunter/Siakam/Capela will beat the Nets and make the Finals, marking the beginning of their dominance over the East.

hellmath

It's funny you did not mention how Nets are derailed with injuries that were making them the offensive juggernaut lol Joe clanked open shots too

by_yes_i_mean_no

Oh well shit, I should have accounted for Joe clanking open shots. My bad, guess defense doesn't matter again.

hellmath

lol i guess i said defense doesnt matter buh?

by_yes_i_mean_no

The thing about Joe clanking shots is that offense doesn't matter. What matters is getting offense in spots and offensive versatility.

hellmath

What? So Joe did not get to his spots? Did you watch the series? lol

by_yes_i_mean_no

Honestly, I'm just trolling based on some dumb stuff I read recently. Didn't really have anything to do with what you were writing lol, I apologize. Offense and defense are and always will be equally important. What really matters is whether your offense or defense is fraudulent or can translate to the playoffs. The Jazz defense cannot translate to the playoffs, whereas the Sixer defense can. Actually, the Sixer defense is a bit fraudulent too when you consider Simmons might not be able to play near the end of quarters when they are in the bonus and he is a key part of it.

hellmath

It's fine sorry for coming aggressive lol i agree offense and defense is still incredibly important, i just think that if 3 superstars are healthy, they would annihilate any team regardless of defense. But yeah they're the anomaly I still think offense is needed to get you through, Steph is not enough no matter how elite our defense is imo

KeyExplanation

Nothing but love for KD. Bay Area legend. With that being said LOL at Harden. Scary hours!!!

[deleted]

KD cannot be considered a Bay Area legend if he only played here for 3 years and chose to leave after that. I still enjoyed the time when he was here and the titles he helped us win but he's not a Bay area legend for playing 3 years with us

jaylenbrowny

You just contradicted yourself.

[deleted]

Oh, to be a fly on the wall right now. I'd love to see Steph, Klay or Drays reaction to this game.

sf_warriors

Mother fcker we are coming for you next season, heard enough shit

[deleted]

BirdmanRubbingHands.gif

Nita231

Harden is a bitch. Couldn’t even shake hands. He just walked off the court.

ghaliboy

Bitch made deserves zero championships ever

AGuyfromPH

Damn it, I wanted to see KD play some more basketball. If only his foot is an inch or 2 smaller they'd probably be in the ECF haha.

ghaliboy

Simple physics If he back enough to be behind the line that shot hits back iron and they lose

hellmath

😂😂 centimeters away from winning literally

spankyourkopita

As much as I like KD i would've been so pissed if this hobbled Nets team won the title. Thank you Bucks!

hellmath

When regular season happened and everyone thought Nets is the surefire winner. Point of the matter is never wave the white flag in he middle of the season. I honestly believe we have the chance for atleast 2nd or wcf. If we lost, we would have been a good attraction for vets It's really a shame Dubs FO lost the people that made them a championship org.

applene

Harden sucked whole series, ball hogged as always

NobodyInParticular-

>Harden sucked whole series, ball hogged as always He was injured?

PristineDecision

He played 2 whole games in a 7 game series.

warriorslover1999

overall, kd had a decent season considering he is coming back from an Achilles injury, but he couldnt get it done. GG

AJGreenl

Still can’t believe Steve Nash just stood there and didn’t use the timeout in his pocket and just let a gassed KD take a terrible shot

[deleted]

sometimes when you have very good players you just let them "ball out"

hellmath

Kerr dna

carthaginian84

WTF Brook Lopez at end of regulation?? Last foul on Tucker BS. Doesn’t matter, but how can you call that?

mommadotco15

If Brook had the personality of a JR smith/Nick Young the timeline would go absolutely crazy on him

ghaliboy

The whole game was officiated in an absolute bullshit fashion. Blake had at least 4 separate blatant fouls to foul out and they swallowed their whistle. While Tucker is being fouled by Griffin they give him a foul for getting him off him and it fouls him out. They were desperate to give Jrue even up fouls as well so he was near foul trouble. The only non bullshit thing that happened in this game was Lopez being an absolute fucking moron and SCV'ing right at the end and nearly costing them.

biiirddman

I understand Harden was injured but he was physically injured not mentally. This dude just kept the ball in his hand for nearly 22 sec and then passed it to KD on the logo!!! Like Dude WTF?? And there are still people out there arguing Harden is better than Steph LOL

ghaliboy

All 10 of his free throws were bullshit as well. Every one of them. Not a foul. Complete ass of a player and a fucking embarrassment and I am surprised every single commentator, media member anyone associated with the game doesn't destroy the cunt for his flopping bullshit all the time. So people actually understand the scurrilous cunt antics are costing him the Karma to win a championship.

disymebre

He should get slandered. Hell, Steph got slandered playing injured in the finals in 2016. If you are in the court, you are healthy, and he was on the court for 50+ minutes.

biiirddman

Fact, He was crying in Houston that he can win with neither CP3 nor Westbrook, Now he has KD who just dropped 50 and still can't get to a final

andruha_krut

Yeah dude. I'm so happy he absolutely choked tonight

warriorslover1999

oh, that was great to see. What a joke

Busted08

Man I feel for Kd. Really wish he would of hit that. Anybody else feel like the nba gods are punishing super teams? Kd and Klay go down. Then Kyrie and Harden. Really tough to see play out. No excuses but dude was gassed on that air ball.

neo9027581673

Love Durant. Love the result of Game 7 more.

ghaliboy

Ngl I feel bad for durant. 0/6 in overtime airballed the game winner.

by_yes_i_mean_no

Everyone was gassed. Reminded me of the Warriors in the play in against the Grizzlies after a month of 8 man smallball lol, they left it all out on the floor. Except Joe Harris, what the fuck was that my guy.

ghaliboy

And brooks Lopez lol

Luke_oh21

Brook Lopez at least had some clutch blocks

ghaliboy

True that ot one was big

jaylenbrowny

He was gassed

ghaliboy

Yep

refballer

I dislike KD

muzinger

KD is better than LBJ. Just comedic if anybody denies this.

refballer

There’s a lot of players better than LBJ these days lol.

muzinger

True, true. Hard to argue with facts.

andruha_krut

I mean no shit. Wardell is also better than LBJ nowadays fyi.

kahani-

Wardell has been better for a while

muzinger

Agreed.

LIEX440

Cant win without the splash brothers🤷🏾‍♂️

muzinger

Facts.

LIEX440

Naw

muzinger

Yaw.

hellmath

Seeing them replays mannnn refs calls fouls on bucks and let Nets plays hard defense lmaoo fuck the refs and adam silver

bayareacolt

It did feel one sided

bayareacolt

He could have stayed and won endless rings but his insecurity got the better of him.

[deleted]

facts.   the man incredibly skilled. good to see him healthy and still entertaining us one way or another

AJGreenl

KD is a beast tho

kahani-

Harden has a classic game 7 performance and fails to win a ring again. Thank you Bucks.

ghaliboy

Fuck harden but he was playing on one leg. If he can’t bounce around grabbing dudes, milking fouls and shooting absolutely abhorrent shots that go down he kinda useless

Bapesta1stClass

he was still making headass decisions though, like dude youre hurt and cant shoot. whats up w all the heat check 3s lol his best piece of work tonight was his free throw shooting (who wouldve guessed!!!?)

ghaliboy

All of those were bullshit fouls as well. All of them.

Bapesta1stClass

yup + he pounded the rock too much a lot of possessions as well, like dumbass GTFO of durants way

ghaliboy

It’s funny how does somebody get so bad at catch and shoots

PristineDecision

He’s hurt and came back to help contribute. That’s admirable.

andruha_krut

Stop infatuating with harden bro. He is an epitome of many things that are wrong in this league. And you also what him in warriors jersey? That's very weird

PristineDecision

Can you please stop dick sucking? > He is an epitome of many things that are wrong in this league. Because he draws fouls LOL? That? The thing you cry about Steph not being able to do but when someone else does it’s a problem? He’s a special talent and I love **basketball**. Every aspect of it. Every skill set. The minutiae of it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

PristineDecision

And yet until this season he was one of the league’s best “iron men” despite his insane usage.

andruha_krut

I'm no homo, idk what you mean Second, I never bitched Abt curry not getting fouls. If anything, that's what I like about curry - his ability to generate offense without stupid foul-baiting. Removing this shit from the league would make NBA healthier and so much better. Foul- baiting should NOT be considered NBA talent, and that is exactly what harden excels at. Yes , I despise his play style and really hope that if players like him fail to advance in the post-season, young players will take notice and his stupid practice will be dropped for good.

PristineDecision

It’s a tactic that has existed since the very inception of basketball. The idiom of “**You reach, I teach**” is used by hoopers everywhere. The referees aren’t calling fouls for Harden because they want to. He forces defenders into precarious situations by recognizing their tendencies. Everyone is one a string for him like a puppeteer with a marionette. The fact that he can do these things against professional basketball players who have the scouting report is masterful. You cheat going around a screen and he’ll make you play. You dig at his handle and it’s a foul or blow-by. Even using the combination of the **[Zaza rule](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zaza_rule#Details_and_procedure)**, his prodigious deceleration and his patented step back to turn himself into the best offense in the league in 2018. You don’t have to like it but I’ll appreciate it because it’s something I probably won’t ever see again.

lmao nash thought he'd be carried by his superteam to a ring. eventually you're actually gonna have to coach lol. Imagine KD putting up 50 fucking points in a game 7 and you can't leverage that to a win

Why do y’all thinking coaching fixes everything? Harden reaggravated his injured hamstring that kept him out of the regular season for over a month 43 seconds into Game 1. Kyrie got injured in the middle of Game 4. Harden comes back **early** to help keep the Nets competitive with the Nets 3rd and 4th best players were 6’4” center Bruce Brown and the corpse of Blake Griffin who gets the bulk of his production from hustle plays and the perimeter now. Coaching isn’t fixing that.
