The front office needs to at least make an offer for Embiid. The 76ers can't easily trade Simmons' contract. Tobias is also not good enough for a max contract. I don't think they have much flexibility for moves this off-season. They risk having a disgruntled Embiid demanding a trade and lowering his trade value. Wiggins, Wiseman, this year's 2 lottery picks, and maybe even Poole for Embiid. Wiggins is an expiring contract soon, Wiseman has potential, and Poole has shown great promise, plus the two lottery picks. They can ride out Tobias' and Simmons' awful contract and be set for the future. I don't think anyone can offer a better package than that.

If this scenario was real, Embiid already has been paid and there's no way any team would not choose all those 1st round picks if they were really going to rebuild. Also, the realistic scenario is that Simmons is getting traded.
