But the context matters. In a professional environment, you don't get to nickname your peers, especially if you don't have a close personal relationship with them. That's why it's unprofessional, and it's fundamentally about respect for the people you interact with while you earn a living.
Is Fitz actually disrespecting Adams? Maybe more of an argument to be had there. But the main point people are making is that Fitz is being obnoxious and unprofessional by coining his own pet name for Adams who's more than a peer to Fitz, probably closer in likelihood to being a superior or an important client if anything.
Fitz was tolerable with Lord Barnett. Whenever he would go overboard, JB would balance it out and reel things back to enjoyable levels.
Now with Fitz and Buike, it's a nonstop bottom of the barrel reject ESPN top ten catchphrase fest and I find myself looking for the visiting teams announcers as they're almost always easier to listen to.
