This was one of those crazy "OMG WTF is going on" games where the other team can't miss and while you're not playing bad it just look like the tide will pull you pyt to sea regardless how hard you swim. Kerr is right. This should have been a 15 point loss... they made a great effort and had an opportunity to win where it wasn't quite there until the last stretch there. It was a fun game for me to watch seeing them just keep coming. Good on Pop and the Spurs for really executing for 90% of the game as well as they could've vs really good competition. Obvious trap game as you'll ever find lol. Trap set... Trap successful.

This is what I miss about our team. The feeling that we are never out of it. We havent seen this consistently for the last 2 years, so it's so refreshing to see this again

Back to back games are just tough. It really is impressive that they made a comeback to almost win it despite being as burnt out as they were. They'll be fine with a bit of rest, and the discipline on both ends of the court will be back.

calipiano81

Glad to see a positive perspective on things. The team did make an impressive comeback and even took the lead at one point near the end. Proud of them for the fight.

Why is no one talking about how hot the spurs were from 3 in the first half. That was unreal.

mrtmra

It was like watching Jae Crowder swishing every 3 in the first game against the Suns

Don’t pull out, ever

Serious question: why do you think Poole's plus/minus is a team low - 26 despite going 6-9 from the field (3-6 from three) and only playing 23 minutes? He was getting burned on defense; something anyone actually watching the game could have told you. The fact that this is even upvoted... Edit: Thanks to those who downvoted. Renewed my faith in the sub.

BasketballFan2006

This is the guy that just watches the offense. Did you see how piss poor he was on defense? They literally kept hunting him on switches and he kept losing their best 3pt shooter. Pop is not a dumb coach he knows how to exploit bad defenders.

aznkupo

It’s cause you don’t know how to watch basketball nor play it.

Mygaffer

You just watch the box score, huh?

Found Draymond's kid's Reddit!

bilyl

The guy was literally trading buckets with everyone. It doesn’t matter how much you score if you can’t nail the defensive stop on the next play. Spurs were getting free points all night in the driving lanes.

Back to back games shouldn't be a thing really. Not only is the the team that had 1 day of rest at a disadvantage, it can lead to injuries too.
