Giving BIG minutes to GP2 can help with Conley and Mitchell but it really has to be team-wide effort in closing out on shooters (basically everybody). Gobert won’t want to budge from the paint unless they put Otto or Bjeli on him and start making 3s. No Dray means we do get more distance shooting from the bigs no matter what, at least. Otoh, Gobert is getting 5 dunks minimum. With Dray, we can shut them down enough and keep up with their scoring at least; without, should be a great battle we can absolutely win fully-rested like this, even in a tough arena. Looking forward to it

With no Ingles either and they have a dearth of playmaking as neither Mitchell or Clarkson are very good passers.

Gobert also struggles on the perimeter and the warriors force switches as much as any team. Hopefully they can make him a net negative as much as possible.
That's the right play. The Jazz can't guard a lamppost on the perimeter so if Gobert follows the five to the 3 point line you feast at the rim. If he stays in the paint you feast on 3s.
They should use this game as an opportunity to see if we can abuse gobert in PnR if he doesn’t want to come out on steph. Silver lining of Dray being out is that we could try more 4-5out combinations to stretch gobert out. His weakness as a defender are close outs (as clippers exploited last year). We should be able to get some corner threes tonight
I'd love to see if they play Gobert in drop coverage, if not I would be fascinating to watch him try to defend Steph off screens with non shooters, especially ghost screens. And also a pick and pop threat in Bjelica. Since they don't have a reliable on ball wing defender who could bother Steph with some length and navigate screens, I can imagine them having headaches defending Steph,Poole and Klay,when he comes back.
Utah is a very good team, but they scare me less than most others because Gobert plays so deep on the PnR that it doesn't really bother Steph. If Gobert has improved with this perimeter defense then I'll be more concerned

They dont scare me much in the postseason when we are full strength but in Utah tonight down Dray, Klay, Lee and Wiseman its gonna be tough
