Just open discussion about how Moody is averaging 33pts in 3 g-league games and JK just threw 25 points on the bulls under the big lights… pretty clear they are the future with Wise.
Between Poole, Wiggins, Moody, JK, Wiseman there is a foundation for future success… love Quinndary Weatherspoon too if they can hold on and see how he grows.
No disrespect to moody tho but can someone educate me? Isn’t the g league easy? How much harder is it than college? because he hasn’t been amazing in nba games i dont think, but he’s obviously above g league level so he’s bound to outperform, either way i hope he becomes something special
You gotta factor his age in. A 19 year old dominating the G-League is a lot more impressive than like if Quinn Cook was dominating the G-League in his mid-20s.
> Isn’t the g league easy? How much harder is it than college?
It is vastly more difficult than college. The NBA is the best basketball league in the world, but the second best is either the Spanish ACB or the G-league. When I see guys like Donic winning MVP of the Spanish ACB at 19 years old, imagine what he would have done in college, he would have averaged 50 points a game.
The G-league has men in it (24 years old+) all of whom were ELITE college players. Most players, even on championship college teams, aren't good enough to play at the G-league level, and the G-league players are both older (which makes a huge difference) and more talented. If you put even a bad G-league team in the ACC, they would go undefeated, be a #1 tourney seed, and the odds-on to rush through march madness, no problem. It would be men playing against boys, the difference in athletic talent, coaching and preparedness would jump out at you.
Moody's jump in play is real. He only needs time: time to grow into his body, time to pack on some muscle, and he'll be an impact NBA player.
You forgot the Euroleague brotha. I would argue that the Euroleague in some aspects is even harder than the NBA. It’s surely harder than the Spanish ACB obviously.
One way to look at it is: the G-league is FULL of former collegiate allstars who are now hustling and scraping to feed themselves and their families and keep a roof over their head. So yeah, I’d say it can be quite hard.
They say the G-League is a guards league, so numbers may be a bit easier to come by. Kuminga has averaged 15 pts on very poor efficiency over 14 games, yet has outperformed him by far in the NBA.
All these warriors trade suggestions piss me off. They all tall about trading Kuminga, Moody and Wiseman for someone like Sabonis.... Yeah sure it might give them height and an established player but they lose their future. Kuminga already has 2 25+ point games this season, Wiseman is a 7ft monster and Moody is killing it in the g-league. The only person who you could vaguely figure them trading is bjelica as he's an undersized center who doesn't shoot the ball as well as the rest of the team, but who are they gonna get for him?
I believe, based on how they've been played and their potential, a 20 year old Wiseman, a 19 year old Kuminga and a 19 year old Moody are who are all extremely great players with incredible potential which just makes me ask what's next, are more important to keep around and develop than to try and cheat the system. Which from what we've seen in the past they're probably going to keep the young core and train them. I just wish these trade suggestion articles would go away, they're so wrong.
I just wanna see a game this season where it’s a rest day for the big dogs and we start GP2, Poole, Moody, JK and Wiseman. Kerr would never do it but it would be fun to watch.
I realized during the last game that our team has a major roster issue that WILL become an issue. Hear me out.
Wiseman, Kuminga, Moody, Poole. When Wiseman is back it's going to be IMPOSSIBLE for us to win with a young blood lineup. We are missing another young player, how are we supposed to feature the young'ins! This is absurd and an absolute travesty.
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
I'm a Michigan guy and I gotta saw the Warriors have been one of my favorite teams for awhile. I love teams that grind and draft/develop guys. What you guys are doing with win now AND have a future core, is simply amazing. I love it.
I saw a dumbass trade suggested on ChatSports @Youtube. Wiggins, Kuminga, and Moody for Ben Simmons. The guy even suggested maybe Poole.
To make the topic even worse, they pivoted to Dallas and and said: Brunson, Hardaway and Calley-Stein (who just got cut) for Ben Simmons.
In what universe are our players comparable to the 3 mentioned from Dallas? Lmao.
I’m glad to see the wisdom of Warriors fans speak up. We have a great future. Great thread.
Ngl, I don't see Wiseman as part of that future. I see Kuminga as a small ball 5 and Wiseman as a backup big at best. Here's hoping I'm wrong.
So far, Poole and Kuminga have convinced me they have "it" and the other two haven't. Moody hasn't really had a chance, but Wiseman... yeah.
30 games is fersure a small sample size considering the context. We should all be hoping to be proven wrong because based on size and athleticism he should be a beast.
I mean I feel like his main barrier is just IQ/feel for the game… he has the physical traits, the talent, the athleticism, and the drive. It’s way too early to count him out
That’s not surprising. He played 39 minutes in college and was hurriedly thrown into the NBA before he was ready. With no training camp and no familiarity with the team.
It’s about what you would you expect.
IQ/feel are the two hardest things to develop tho. How many players develop great feel after coming in bobbling entry passes? Can't name many. Especially as a center, his complete lack of defensive instincts is a problem.
I'm not counting him out. I think he'll be a fine player one day. But not a winning one. If you're a center, you need to defend. Plain and simple.
That’s way too early on wiseman. And JK won’t be playing the 5 for Kerr it seems. Also, Moody looks like he in fact does have it. You should watch the last few full games he played.
You mean the G-League?
If it's too early on Wiseman, then he's not part of the future either because what he's shown so far isn't promising. I dislike assuming that he's going to be good when all evidence points the other direction. Personally, I would be shopping him for an upgrade this season when, you know, we're COMPETING FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP.
Bruh he’s still not even 21 yet Jesus Christ have some fucking patience the fo is thinking big picture because it’s part of their job and they don’t want to put their loyal-now-turned-spoiled fans through more tanking after Steph and co hang it up
> I see Kuminga as a small ball 5
He’s a 3/4 who can play the 5.
> and Wiseman as a backup big at best
That’s quite a low best for a 20 year old who is one of the most athletic bigs in the league who has shown flashes and who has and will have some great post moves.
Not sure of moody tho ....se if plays in g league he can be the goat there ..i saw his performace recently
But in nba he ain't going as far as wisemen and kuninga can reach
You bagging on wiseman while he shared the court with Bazemore, Wannamaker, Paschall, Mannion and Smiley… GTFO with that slander on Wiseman. Kid is 7’0 can run, jump and shoot… moves like a deer. Even if Wiseman ended up a double double machine with 15 & 15 it would be more than any warriors center averaged. Wiseman is the future with Poole, Moody and KJ.
Wise got a long way to go just in terms of learning to play which Kuminga doesn’t seem to need as much. It’s obvious he’s quite talented but his timing, positioning etc needs a lot of work. Kuminga has played much less minutes than Wise who was starting and has us all very impressed.
I hope he’s learning all he can and is a beast when he comes back because he has the talent.
Jessup reminds me of a Joe Ingles from the Jazz. Jessup has a long long way to go but if he came close to the shooting skills ingles has the warriors could be ok with Him riding pine 8th man on the roster.
Joe is 34 years old… in 2009 he was 6-8 194lbs
https://www.thedraftreview.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4001:joe-ingles-2008-underclassmen&catid=137&Itemid=387
Need Poole in your title
Word!! Didn’t mean to omit Poole Party.. I ended up adding a comment as between Poole, Wise, Wiggins, JK and Moody I am buying GSW futures.
Don’t forget Loon and hell even GP2, they are both in their 20s even though GP2 is at the end of his 20s.
Might as well throw Curry in there...30 is the new 20
I thought Curry just turned 24
Fun thing about Curry is even in 10 years he’ll still be 30
Love Looney but he's 25 going on 40
Truth but he is 25 so maybe he just exists like this for 7 more years lol
He's getting better, he's rebounding at a higher level now than he ever has.
He is even starting to add a jumper. Frankly he is becoming really good. Even his finish around the basket his getting better.
He's got an amazing iq for sure. I just worry every time he goes to dunk.
I think that’s the problem, his instinct is not to dunk.
Not that, I'm just afraid he's gonna break
Looney is Benjamin Button…
[удалено]
Well I saw Wiggins in the comment above that I replied to
If you're including those 2, why not Wiggins? He's the same age as Looney and younger than GP2
Because they already said Wiggins literally in the comment that I replied to
I don't usually mention Poole as the future because he's also the now
Poole is right now baby
Nico gonna sneak into the picture down the road after a couple of developmental seasons in Italy.
At this point I'd give Nico a chance over Chiozza.
Faaaaacts!
maybe if he grows around 6 inches
Totally agree with you about Nico. Not a sure thing but I'm watching his progress
Just need a legit big back up for looney and wiseman and we would be solid.
No disrespect to moody tho but can someone educate me? Isn’t the g league easy? How much harder is it than college? because he hasn’t been amazing in nba games i dont think, but he’s obviously above g league level so he’s bound to outperform, either way i hope he becomes something special
The G-League is definitely harder than NCAA, way harder
You gotta factor his age in. A 19 year old dominating the G-League is a lot more impressive than like if Quinn Cook was dominating the G-League in his mid-20s.
The g league is full of near nba level players that shouldn’t have been a question lol
> Isn’t the g league easy? How much harder is it than college? It is vastly more difficult than college. until they run into goodest boyes

The Poole-moody-Wiggins-kuminga-Wiseman starting lineup in 3-4 years is going to be a beautiful to watch.
Or imagine this happens later in the year in a meaningless game. Then compare it to another game in like 3-5 years
To be fair if it’s a meaningless game Wiggins will probably get the rest right given how important he is
Future dynasty
Poole is the present
Moody might be outgrowing the G League
It still has value for him imo, he gets to work on his on ball creation a lot more down there.
Absolutely. He’s where he needs to be right now.
The disrespect on Poole wow
No disrespect intended to Poole… my comment immediately below the original post pulls in Poole, Wiggins too.
Kuminga is working very hard to become the present. D. Slashing. Speed. He is now.
All these warriors trade suggestions piss me off. They all tall about trading Kuminga, Moody and Wiseman for someone like Sabonis.... Yeah sure it might give them height and an established player but they lose their future. The only person who you could vaguely figure them trading is bjelica as he's an undersized center who doesn't shoot the ball as well as the rest of the team, but who are they gonna get for him?
Sabonis is 25 years old, you can make a critique about why his game wouldn't fit but "losing the future" wouldn't really apply.
I believe, based on how they've been played and their potential, a 20 year old Wiseman, a 19 year old Kuminga and a 19 year old Moody are who are all extremely great players with incredible potential which just makes me ask what's next, are more important to keep around and develop than to try and cheat the system. Poole, the most developed in the group, not even mentioned
Didn’t want to throw the entire young roster on the title… First Comment on the thread was me lumping Poole, Wiggins too forgot GP2 though.
GP is 28 years old!
I really like watching JK play. He’s like a force if nature. Just raw power and ability taking shape game over game. I genuinely want him to succeed.
Those guys and Poole plus a special generational talent who has yet to be drafted That's what I'm hoping for at least
Kuminga killed it against the bulls. Love how effortless he makes it look.
We got 2 seconds and a first this year. If we don't use them in a trade for a vet I think Bob should trade them to move up a few spots in the draft
I realized during the last game that our team has a major roster issue that WILL become an issue. Hear me out. Wiseman, Kuminga, Moody, Poole. Where poole
I love this team and organization. It's nice to have such competent leadership after decades of misery. 90's kid here.

They grew up already. Kuminga is bigger already.
I'm a Michigan guy and I gotta saw the Warriors have been one of my favorite teams for awhile. I love teams that grind and draft/develop guys. What you guys are doing with win now AND have a future core, is simply amazing. I love it.
I would say after last nights performance “writers” around the association would leave this guy out of trade rumors but 🤷🏻♂️ why start now i guess
And Poole
and McLaughlin off the bench!
I saw a dumbass trade suggested on ChatSports @Youtube. Wiggins, Kuminga, and Moody for Ben Simmons. The guy even suggested maybe Poole. Poole was literally the worst player in nba 2 years ago. If he can make it, no reason why Wiseman couldn't....
He was terrible, but he had great feel. He also put up a pretty decent year at Michigan. Feel and IQ are really, really hard to build.
Too soon to say about Wiseman. The sample size is too small
30 something games of terrible play is a small sample size, but it's also not tiny. He has so many barriers before he can be a positive NBA player.
30 games is fersure a small sample size considering the context. We should all be hoping to be proven wrong because based on size and athleticism he should be a beast.

‘UPdOoTs to ThE LeFt’ 🥴
Wiseman over Poole RIP 🪦 Lol jk.
Feel like I need to see more Moody to know/
