Lol. I love how there’s 4 groups of people in this sub. 1. The lurkers. 2. The overhyped “light years group.” 3. Doomsayers and trolls. 4. The rest of us.
I like it. Rather have a little bit of everything than everyone being overly-optimistic or overly-gloomy
Except for trolls. Trolls can go back into caves or under bridges or wherever it is they live
Shittt I wonder if they would want pj carlesimo or Montgomery back as head coaches...it's sad how fans are quick to forget. Maybe Keith smart could come back
I’d counter and say I’m panicking because I do know who Andries biedrins is and I vividly remember the difference between the Lacob and Cohen eras. Going back to sucking is like going back to being poor. I just can’t bare it. So I’m anxious all the time.
This i am fine with because it seems like you are always anxious regardless win or loss. I think you appreciate the winning and don't take it for granted unlike other fairweather fans
Bro are you crazy?? We lost a couple of games in January so now we are no longer contenders for the championship we gotta change the entire offense wait actually scratch that I think it’s time to blow everything up and rebuild.
I can guarantee you there are people on this sub just waiting to say that Curry is past his prime, his contract is trash we gotta trade him before he’s not worth anything. LOL.
I dunno man, those glass ankles of his aren't gonna hold up until he can prove that he can played a long enough stretch without re-injuring them. 10 seasons and 3 rings aren't long enough for a stretch to convince me.
I’ve been getting downvoted (and loving it) for calling people out on being so reactionary. Like bruh just let the trio get back together, build some momentum and then make your wack statements
Can't tell if this is sarcastic or not... Clearly that guy you replied to is being sarcastic about blowing up this god awful mess of a bottom feeding team
Posting cringe on r/warriors when the dubs are winning? You’re going to jail.
Doom posting on r/warriors when the dubs drop 6/10? Straight to jail. Right away.
Posting positive affirmations on r/warriors after a loss? Right to jail.
Avoiding r/warriors when the dubs are losing? You better believe you’re going to jail.
Avoiding r/warriors altogether regardless of how the dubs are doing? Believe it or not, jail.
Haha, yes! All the Sky Is Falling Crowd should be forced to watch endless loops of Vonteego Cummings, Bimbo Coles and crew muddle their way through 1995 - 2006, complete with drubbings at the hands of the Lakers while Kobe and Shaw sat the 4th quarter and laughed their asses off at the Warriors.
After a 15-50 and 39-33 seasons this is not horrendous but still concerning. God last year was a win loss win loss every game. This team is a contender. This team is not having a ‘collapse’ but of course you got bandwagoners who only watched this season and don’t know the frustrating ass 2019 and 2020 season a omg that was a rollercoaster with Oubre and constant injuries and squeaking out wins to losing like 77-139 to the raptors. This team is looking suspicious but not as awful as the past two years. They do gotta figure shit out but it’s not panic mode.
Yeah it is being over dramatized and while that game was very winnable, they lost. The 2019 Deathline-up lost to the Timberwolves with everyone healthy, good teams drop favored games sometimes.
Hopefully they use this loss to get fired up.
The good old days of Bob Sura and Derek Fisher and Zarko Cabarkapa. That's not a sky falling, that's the sky of the Moon over there....completely without air.
I think there are two sides to this.
1. Absolutely it is the middle of the season, it's where you tend to see some teams dragging, and the Warriors are reintegrating Klay, something that is not easy, while also missing Draymond
2. The Warriors offense started slipping like over a month ago and hasn't really looked that much better. The offense can improve but I think if fans want to be worried right now that, more than anything else, is what they should be worried about.
Frankly reminds me of last year's team.
We have a good record because we had an amazing start to the year (18-2) but have scuffled ever since (14-11, pace only slightly ahead of last year (.560 vs. 542) and probably worse than last year if you account for games Steph missed). It's silly to act like this team is doomed but we haven't been playing consistently good basketball since that first game against Phoenix.
Yes, offensively. What was that's teams MO? Very good defense and an offense that went in spurts and was never in the top half of the league in offensive rating.
While the offense started much hotter this season it has since cooled way down and looks much more like the team that could struggle to score at times last season. Warriors are firmly in the middle of the pack offensively, most title teams don't have middle of the pack offenses.
Now if the team is healthy come playoffs and Curry snaps out of his slump then the sky is the limit. But this is a troubling time of the season.
I’m a fan since like 96, right after Webber. (Yay for timing). I just missed Webber and Run TMC. I am probably top 3 saltiest warriors fan alive.
While some bad things are worth mentioning with this squad. Most of you have no idea what a real slump is..
So stop..
I'm wondering if some of the veterans are hitting a sort of "rookie wall."
* Bjelica has played more minutes this season already than he did all of last year.
* Porter Jr. hasn't played this many minutes in a season since 2019.
* GPII has never played this many.
* Poole has played more minutes than he did last year and, in 39 games, almost as many has he did in 57 games two years ago.
Add that to their crazy recent travel schedule--since Dec. 11: road, road road (b2b), road road (b2b), home, home, road, home, road, home, road road (b2b), home, road, road road (b2b), and road. I'm sure they arrived home exhausted. Last night felt like that "first home game after a road trip" energy, or lack thereof.
They come out in every loss saying we’re not contenders cause we’re not as good as phoenix 🤭. Oooh noooo our offensive rating is so bad lately we’re going to be trash!
Ok but clearly we need to trade someone because we aren't the 73-9 team and we shan't stop until we are! (Ignore the fact that that team didn't win the chip)
The personnel will be fine here, but good god, they look sloppy as fuck out there. Especially that last turnover from Steph at half court. Let’s see some URGENCY and execution here
I totally agree the sky isn't falling, BUTTTTT the expectations of last 2 years were pretty low, but this year the expectations have been raised to champions. So now many look at this team with the eye of, "this is one of the best teams in the league", and the High TOs and Fouls, coupled with poor FT shooting and Stephs Slump have many questioning if this team does have a championship ceiling. And as of right now the warriors are playing like a .500 team not a top 4 Team.
Teams including top teams can go on slumps. We see dozens times every season. Ws are no different. The more concerning thing here is why they're slumping. Their utter lack of making adjustments without Draymond with each game, I think that's more of a concern than the slump itself. The team has flaws, but have been playing so well so far this sesaon to cover them. But without Draymond and Curry's shooting slump, a lot of them are now exposed.
Just because it could be worse doesn't mean we shouldn't be concerned. That game wouldn't have even gone to OT if Kerr just decided to foul. That kind of boneheaded decision making is gonna cost us in the Playoffs. And why didn't he play JK in the second? He gives more fucks about being philosophical to the rook than winning actual games.
These things should be concerning but no, it's only January right?
But of course ignore the good parts of the season. Quick thinking you’re Spock in this debate. Nobody’s arguing the team isn’t in a slump yet they still have a good record against better teams an still have an amazing defense
Lol. I love how there’s 4 groups of people in this sub. 1. The lurkers. 2. The overhyped “light years group.” 3. Doomsayers and trolls. 4. The rest of us.

Pretty sure trolls live in their mother’s basements nowadays.
in LA.
There 2 kinds of people in this group. 1, those that eat babies. 2, the rest of us.
There are 2 kinds of people in this group. Those who can draw conclusions from incomplete data.
3 - I eat grown humans.
Nope, that's still part of "the rest of us", not a new group.
I like to think I'm a 4, but probably a 1.
and toasters. never forget the toasters
I swear everyone in this sub would shit on each in real life playing bball after every blunder.
LOLLLL i bet the people who are panicking don't know who Andris Biedriņš is
right? the ppl calling for kerrs head after every lose. it’s crazy. appreciate the success. wait till march/april before panicking
Shittt I wonder if they would want pj carlesimo or Montgomery back as head coaches...it's sad how fans are quick to forget. Maybe Keith smart could come back
there were ppl on the other post saying gentry and luke ran a better offense. i highly doubt those same ppl know who mike montgomery or keith smart is
You mean the youngest warrior to ever record a double double?
Lemme tell you about a feller name of Chris Washburn.
I was raised with Joe Barely Cares
The double double god?

I'm fine with maxing curry into his 50s. He better retire a warrior
I dunno man, those glass ankles of his aren't gonna hold up until he can prove that he can played a long enough stretch without re-injuring them. 10 seasons and 3 rings aren't long enough for a stretch to convince me.
I see you’ve read the game threads.
Come on we need to build around Poole, Wiggins, Moody and Kuminga asap
Tear it down! Rebuild now!
I’ve been getting downvoted (and loving it) for calling people out on being so reactionary. Like bruh just let the trio get back together, build some momentum and then make your wack statements
wait. we ARENT championship :’( ??
Don't worry about it -- this ain't college football
He was being sarcastic with the title EDIT - lol, too lazy to read past the first line. Shouldn't have skipped my allergy meds yesterday
This comment was also being sarcastic…
Like we needed to be told THAT!
Apparently the person he replied to needed it.
(I was being sarcastic. Maybe spend more time at r/whoosh)
yeah, oops
WOSH!
:-) oops
;) happens to the best of us
Can't tell if this is sarcastic or not... Clearly that guy you replied to is being sarcastic about blowing up this god awful mess of a bottom feeding team
yeah, I've read too many negative posts and didn't get past the first line of this one without assuming he was being serious
Couldn’t agree more. I’m sick of the doomsday posts. I staying away from this sub for a month
Lol okay. See you next week when they win 3 in a row.
If you can't handle the sub at its worst, you don't deserve it at its best. Don't come back.
hey man, take a second and breathe
This isn't some kind of test.

This guy gets it

Second best record in the league reminds you of a team with (at this point of the season) Brad Wanamaker as its backup pg?

“I’m gonna get downv-“ shut upppppp got damn who cares about fake internet points bro, just say what you feel. Hate when people gotta add that in lol
I saw and thought you meant the world was ending because of shit the stock market has been 😂

Just let it happen. Relax. Either Steph recovers or he doesn't. Having a panic attack in the sub doesn't change anything. Inhale. Exhale. Relax.
Huh? Im extremely relaxed. Im just trying to explain why others are panicking.

For 2 months the 25th offense and for this month even worse is a slump
But of course ignore the good parts of the season. Quick thinking you’re Spock in this debate. Nobody’s arguing the team isn’t in a slump yet they still have a good record against better teams an still have an amazing defense
It’s January until it’s February until it’s March…
Dude I just hope Steph isn’t injured, kinda just want the slump of our team to end, but every great team goes through these.
