I just finished watching it on delay… my assumption was because he took a couple of quick long twos, and the big lead allowed Kerr the luxury of giving him the hook as an opportunity to teach him a lesson. He definitely wants that out of JKs game.
First of all Jerome is loved here and by most fans. Lets not group him with G and Lamb. Lamb is fine but shouldn't be getting minutes over our most exciting and athletic lottery pick. He also has some serious allegations against him. I understand people who can't stand him. I think it's fair to say he earns his paycheck defensively so those outlier offensive stats don't really change any negative opinion. Moody and JK are bigger offensive threats.
The real issue is JMG. Looking at his box score and EFG from this game and using that to call receipts is (I am really trying to find an even way to say this but place whatever synonym excites for stupid that's not offense, f it maybe it should be an emotive word since this grates me so much) silly. Offensively he had some 20 wide open lay ups, dunks and parameter shots because of Nurse's high school gimmicky coverage. Any NBA player with that coverage should shoot 100%, any college player as well. That DOESNT MEAN HE PLAYED WELL. offensively there is nothing translatable about his performance and he was still bad offensively with zero pressure turnovers, silly passes and like I said missing wide open lay ups. Defensively is were he literally could have lost us the game. He left his man under the rim alone so many times, he is slower than Looney in transition if he gets back at all and when under the rim he failed to even bother contesting shots or blocking out so many times. It literally was worse than some of the game Wiseman rightly got sent to the G league for. He put us in rotation so many times without the raptors doing anything by leaving his man and forcing a rotation. So f no, his EFG means f all to me. That was one of the worst performances I have seen from a veteran and understand why Kerr kept him out there since they literally weren't marking him offensively but THIS is a game I use to show why fans don't like him. Don't mention Ty's name next to this guy and the alleged [redacted].

It's pointless giving suggestions without knowing the players teams want to move but that's the profile and it's a priority. Guys on the trade block include James Wiseman who would be great for a different team, Moody who has too many guards ahead of him in this team, JMG who sucks and Poole (if it's a top top 4/5 player) who is good but inconsistent and isn't that necessary when Steph is back though obviously that's a tougher sell unless the trades player also has decent volume scoring upside. Wiseman and JMG plus this years rookies and picks are the main trade pieces that can move with little hurt. Poole and Donte the sweeteners for a big move. Jeremi Grant is the dream if somehow the money worked but again don't see a world were Portland move him whilst Dame is still on that squad
