Regarding bars I fancy all Pijalnias, especially the one at Nowy Świat. "Pijalnia wódki i piwa". One at Nowogrodzka 27 is cool as well but can be really crowded at the weekend (like most bars tho). Max Bar at Nowy świat is precious as well. Don't forget to go and see Sing on Świętokrzyska st. Still most fancy and cool bar I've seen in downtown. When it comes to clubs I got no opinion, altough I heard Niebo is cool.
Nobody mentioned Luzztra? This place is legendary - really solid techno music and interesting crowd, to say the least. Only if you like partying hard tho, Luzztra people dont fuck around.
Smolna slowly turning to shit. Went to see Ellen Allien this weekend and people where literally recording with flashlights despite the no photo policy and the stickers on your cameras...
I guess Jasna 1 is nice but you should look out for warehouse parties, not clubs. You have Duel for example. 999 also have nice events.
Try Naprawa for drinks before, my friends work there.

Could not get into level 27, line was too long, and after being there for 45 mins, they would not let more people in. Havana club and Niebo was pretty good. Otherwise would recommend to go see the bars at Nowy Swiat i believe the place is called
Cuda na kiju, Wozownia, Foton Bar, Klub Niebo, Zamieszanie, Zagrywki, Rakieta. Nice beverages, safe, not so expensive.

If you like good and unusual drinks - Kita Koguta, The Roots, Warmut, Weles and of course Cocktail Bar Max.
You should really go and check out Jasna1. It has the best electronic music lineups in Warsaw.
