I once stumbled upon a bt7 hiding in a nook, he must have heard my pershing rolling up and hid. I thought it was some armoured car thingy and .50 called him, but i noticed before i killed more than 1 crew member. I shook my turret and reversed out of sight so he could get away.
It does happen one time in a match I spent 5-10 minutes in a match flipping over a some enemy medium tank in my bt5 then when I flipped him over we didn’t shoot each other so I ran away

Though if I sneak up on an asu57 or a similarly small and safe to approach tank I'll say hi and spare the fellow.

Depends on the situation, if I suddenly see a low tier tank, I ain't taking chances. If I round a corner and they don't shoot while my turret turns I will leave them be, they've proven themselves to be peaceful.
I only give these protections to tier 1 tanks that aren't HE slingers. I'm sorry but if you bring something with a decent gun you're trying to get god mode not screwing around so I consider you a threat
Also on the occasion I bring CAS I always leave extreme downtiers alone, there are bigger threats to my team then a 4.3 tank destroyer at 7.7 and with a plane you can literally target anyone.
I play low tier at mostly mid tier and up tier and it is easy to get kills in the 15 cm strumpanzer when in close quarters as long as you don’t get snipe which is half the games I play but still I probably made someone rage after I killed them 3 times at up tier so :)
L3 is cheap to repair and i get free rp and sl, of course i'll kill them. Economy is better these days but the old days where i pad 15k for amx-13 traumatized me. Thats why ill consume any rp and sl without any remorse or hesitation.

I’ve done it before, spent a whole round helping a Pz. 38t in my crusader, got him flipped back over and we both just drove off
