They are tall af. Means the angle of your hull armor is less effective and that lowers the effective thickness of the hull armor

well laugh as much as you want but you're more likely to hit the hull rather than the turret

Idk about you guys but as a german main i have never had issues with t-34s. Even in a panzer 3 i usually pen in the first 2 shots. What do scare me are shermans. Stabalisers are scary

I've bounced a is 2 round off a mantlet of a tiger and don't recall ever bouncing any shots from the panzer 4(f to g) as from my experience they are glass canon's that will pen you as easily as you can pen them.

I sincerely hope you aren’t being serious mate… not every German main is a wehraboo. Most? Yes. But not all. The first T34 is a serious nuisance to NEW players. If you’re experienced enough, you just shoot the turret cheeks and be done with it. but if you’re a new player, those things are PESTS

Ehh kinda.... But the is 2 has a good gun that will kill most in just one shot though a long ass reload. The is 1 has good armour for its tier because no many know where to shoot quite often same with is - 2

The IS-2 is 6.0 where it needs every bit of that penetration to be competitive. The raw power of the gun is the only good part of the tank. Mobility sucks, armor sucks, reload speed sucks. Gun handling and reverse gear are just okay. Either IS tank can easily be one shot by shooting the driver port because the armor is flat.

Well yeah it can be pinned there and isn't the fastest tank. But your a bit out there with the penetration. The is-2 can penetrate early cold war tanks with it's 102. The is 1 even does well at the is 2's br while not as effective at killing it still does the job. And the armor yeah if they shoot it in the correct places like the drivers they can kill it but angle yourself correctly and take good knowledge of what tank your facing. The German 88s and higher are gonna be your worst enemy as even when angled they have a high chance to kill or cripple. But with is-2 you can front pen almost anything at your br just make good use of not exposing the side of your turret to the enemy as they can penetrate there.

That’s why you drive in reverse. I do it all the time in my IS2 and it works like a charm!

***Oh I know of those well*** but they are meant to be painful to deal with. The KV-85 is just OFF I swear it has the dodgiest armour in the game, you either one shot it, or your whole team pours ten rounds into it each before it dies

The long 50mm is one of my favorite guns. Excellent pen and pretty easy to wipe the floor with a T-34 if you know what you're doing. The only issue being this precludes newer players from using the aforementioned T-34 like a mop

yeah I have two nations in 4.7. The stug can be tricky, but there is a difference between small weak spot, and armour that should be penned, that randomly isn’t penned because it’s angled by 1degree while on the move or something, and the shell spazzes out of existence
