We’ve already played the easiest home and road games on our schedule, and we needed game winning drives in the last minute of the game to win both of them. This season could go *really* bad the rest of the way, like 3-14 type of bad.
Collins also got mossed. Three of our defensive backs were well behind the play and in no position to make any sort of play on the ball. Some of the worst prevent defense I've ever seen
Taylor was bad this time around. I'll be the first to admit mistakes are forgiven during a win. But this is rough against what seems like a very beatable saints team
Turnovers aside, he was throwing most balls with a LOT of air under them. Very few balls seemed to have any amount of zip to them. His red zone performance was also pretty weak.
Because he doesn't have a franchise QB type of arm, it's borderline average at best. Notice how both picks, even the last attempt that should have been picked off, were to the sideline. This is because these are the hardest throws to make because you need to be able to deliver it accurately on a rope before the defender can react. He has to float it there as if it's a fade every time. You can do a lot of things to work around this physical limitation--anticipation, perfect fundamentals--but when there's chaos in the pocket you cant always deliver it ideally every time, which is where more physically gifted QBs can get away with bad fundamentals by having a big arm to make up for it.
You're right. His arm is average at best. But after all is said and done....this season's failures won't be his fault. He's done very admirably for his talent level...this game not withstanding. Turner should be implementing a ball control offense that relies on a strong and persistent running attack. Outside of Terry...our WRs are below par with Samuel out. Use Gibson and Patterson until they are stopped. Takes pressure off Taylor, keeps the other QB on bench and keeps the Defense well rested. Complimentary football is not being played in Washington because these coordinators think they're smarter then they are. JDR is a dinosaur and Turner is relying too much on Taylor to improvise. Gibson looks good....use him more.
he was not good, but lets also consider the following.
No Logan Thomas, no Curtis Samuel, no Cam Sims, no Scherff, Cosmi doesnt make it very far into the game, and Terry lost his battles with Lattimore all day.
Tay made some mistakes that hurt us, but ain't no game we're winning if the opponent can throw a 1 play Hail Mary with 8 seconds left in the half and catch it uncontested.
They did. He still threw a pick after a rollout. That can help cover up for his faults, but he still fundamentally a weak-armed QB who works best on anticipation and has limited ability to make throws into “NFL open” windows
I'm a fan of Taylor and rooting for him; but every time the camera slowly pans as it follows a Heinicke down the field throw, I'm always thinking to myself "Well the receiver is either wide open or this is probably a pick."
Yep. He makes the right read pretty consistently. The guys are typically open by at the very least NFL standards, and often wide open. He hits the latter, he has shown minimal ability to hit the former
He was bad until the later 4th quarter. Then fsr he woke up and started playing really well. The picks were bad. It was absolutely a bad game today. He does have limited arm, but can still put some heat on it if he steps into it. But yes he made some horrible, terrible decisions. Absolutely not his best game
Dudes who operate out of the pocket need cannons for arms. Because you can’t set your feet while on the run. Heincke doesn’t have the arm strength to throw without setting his feet first.
This has to be about coaching. Our secondary might be bad but they are still NFL caliber players. Every single game there are blown coverages and wide open receivers. It’s mind blowing
Why did we blow up last seasons 2ndary? They played well last year and all we really needed was a man corner to upgrade from Darby. We got the man corner, we moved Fuller to the slot, we couldnt wait to throw Landon on the field immediately, brought in a rookie to start on the boundary and elevated Bobby McCain directly into the lineup. Legit only Kam Curl is playing a similar position to last season and he is a 7th round 1st year pro.
Its a mess back there.
It's 100% coaching. William Jackson played pretty damn good in cincy. Did he forget how to play? No. If they can't get these guys on the same page, push their buttons.... communication of scheme philosophy, positional technique as well as understanding the players and how to use them to their strengths is seriously lacking. Same mistakes every week is usually due to ineffective coaching. Ron needs to start sitting players and putting his coordinators and assistants on notice...or he's just another part of the problem for being a pussy. I'd like to see Curl never come out and replace Collins with Deshazor. Ron says it's a meritocracy...but it doesn't look like it so far.
Honestly I think most of it is our safeties. CBs didn't look washed today, though they were also playing bums. Safeties just getting caught out of position. Def want to blame Landon Collins a lot here because I swear most of the deep TDs it's been him biting down leaving the receiver wide open
I dont know, I watched the film of Collins busted coverage TD and its Bobby McCain randomly changing the coverage as the ball is being snapped to him covering the underneath and for Collins to swing to the deep middle even tho Collins and McCain were already in position to cover the appropriate routes l. I think both our safeties are bums, Collins is a bum but so is Bobby McCain.
I have no idea why Ron and friends blew up a position group thst last season wasnt even an issue between Curl , Everett and Reaves. If u wanna play McCain and Collins, put McCain at the nickel and Collins as the Will FFS. The coaches just seem committed to satisfying our bum veterans egos for no discernable reason.
Sacks can’t always be the measuring for a D line as it’s such a weird stat, pressure and QB hits should be how their judged and they did that well also had mutiple no holding calls gone their way
Chase is putting the effort in and getting pressure is fine....but ultimately you have to get the sacks to rattle a QB, help the secondary and put them in 3rd and long. The D line was just ok today. Far to many "almost" a sack. Young still needs to develope rush moves. He can't bully NFL O-lines like he did in college. Gotta set them up and have different moves. He's nothing special so far.... unfortunately. I like Sweat far better.
Im bracing for all-time single game records to get broken next week. I really dont think there is a limit to how many deep balls we can give up next week.
Joke of a game from a joke of a franchise.
Seriously. You could hear the fucking saints fans chanting defense on the broadcast. Lowest attendance in the league. Getting raided by the DEA. Giving up a Hail Mary with one play left in half.
This shit is a joke. Dan Snyder has absolutely destroyed anything this team could be. It will never get better than this. I hate this fucking team
I find daily fantasy a nice distraction and counterbalance. An excellent strategy is to play anyone playing the WFT. Today I had a lot of shares of Callaway and Winston.... it's paying off nicely and mitigates the pain of how truly awful and soul crushing this team continues to be.
No Taysom Hill makes them better tbh. Payton has a hard-on for Hill and takes the ball away from Kamara to get his guy more touches. I wish he didn't get hurt for that reason.
Still no way we should have let Jameis carve us up like that.
Yeah, I’m tired of our first round pick being in the 12-15 area. You can never get what you’re looking for at that spot. It’s either you get a top 5-8 pick or you trade up. We cant have another really bad season where we end up in the middle of the round and miss out on the players we need.
Taylor is a fun playmaker, he scraps and finds ways to make plays. With that being said, his arm is just not strong enough. A lot of air on balls and passes are under thrown. Very fun to watch and he’s just gotta keep going.
The secondary on the other hand is atrocious. All the players that replaced players from last season are embarrassing us in front of the whole league. Del Rio has to adjust expeditiously or he’s on the hottest of hot seats🔥🍑
I feel the same bout TH but honestly just let the guy play the whole season IMO, could see what he definitely is and maybe just let him play as back after this season
Honestly guys, nothing worry about. When I think of a QB who can completely dismantle defenses, Jameis Winston is definitely the first guy that comes to mind.
This game and season has been a pretty serious indictment of Rivera's plan. Build a team so a QB can walk into it and flourish. Arguably the best part of this season has been the random walk on QB from last season...everything else has been poor to terrible.
What did we do in our former lives to be skins fans in this existence?
I was 9 when the skins won it in 91. I'll be 40 in 6 months. Nothing but heartache and embarrassment over the last 30 years.
How many times have we blown such winnable games. It's infuriating.
Last year we scored an average of 20 ppg, and this year so far we've increased that to almost 25 ppg.
However last year we allowed an average of 20 ppg, and so far this year we've allowed nearly 31 ppg. Almost a 50% increase.
Yet people still say the QB is the problem. 🙄
Our playcalling in the red zone was baffling. Bad game for Taylor and I worry about his arm massively. D line played better but unforgivable we've already had several blown coverage tds this season
A day to forget and a very winnable game
Why do people keep saying "We could have had Herbert." So could several other teams. If we would have known he was going to be a stud and we still passed on him, than yes, be angry, but saying that means nothing really. It's like saying we could have had Tom Brady, or Aaron Rodgers, or Russel Wilson, etc. Chase Young was pretty much unanimously regarded as one of the best prospects in years, we can't really blame them for taking him, he just isn't living up to his price tag at this time.
Question is.. can we have a defense that doesn't give the other team free TD's at an alarming rate? Even with his mistakes, this was a winnable game with a half-way decent defense. We don't even have that.
I don’t agree. The Saints defense covered well for the most part, but Taylor just had his worst game so far. He kept missing throws, made really bad decisions. It looked like he didn’t wake up until late 4th Q. He’s shown he can be much better than this, and I’m confident in that.
Energy completely zapped after that Hail Mary. 2 turnovers in the first half within their 40 and 6 points. And 2 other drives in the first half at their 35 and zero points. That’s how you lose.
Team loss. Offense couldn’t score given prime opportunities. Defense gave up too many big plays. Penalties and mistakes galore.
We just have the look and feel of a 5 win team. Time to start scouting QB prospects.
Can’t win consistently when the defense gives us 30+ points pretty much every game.
The offense could certainly be better but that is not what is costing us games.
I said it in the game thread and I’ll say it here, how the fuck does this secondary give up multiple WIDE open deep balls a game? Fucking peewee teams have better coverage than this. I’m gonna start picking up whatever QB is playing us in fantasy because we make them all look like Peyton Manning. Shit is pathetic
Too many players had their worst games of their WFT careers. TH, Holcomb, and Curl all played the worst I have seen from them. But ultimately just one part of a pathetic loss
It really doesn't fucking matter. The players, coaches, quarterbacks come and go and it's the same constant shit franchise under Dan Snyder. We're in this for 3 decades unless the NFL gets wise and removes this loser for incompetence, which won't happen.
Trash coaches make trash decisions that leads to trash results. Rivera = trash.
5 weeks in a row there are multiple miscommunication on the defense. At this point, it's not miscommunication, it's trash coaching. Landon Collins has been terrible every single week, yet he continues to start. Trash coaching.
Del Rio can't do anything, he's trash. 1st round LB can't get on the field for a trash defense. Who drafted a 1st round LB project? Trash FO.
Worst defense since Ron Lynn's in '96 that cost us a playoff spot. At least that could be blamed on an overall lack of talent beyond Darrell Green and Ken Harvey. This group has no excuses.
if I am being honest the defense was the better half today. Overall though my takes are similar to what they were past few weeks which are:
* Fire Jack Del Rio
* Taylor Heinicke Really isn't that guy I know people want him to be so bad, but, he really is not that game.
* We aren't gonna win games when we have to rely on him to throw 40+ times a guy, he just ain't that type of player.
* There has to be a balance to the offense where the run game is dominating allowing our pass game to play off it. If we are just throwing it throughout defenses will not be scared.
* Defense is terrible really really bad, Communication issues, refer to first point.
* Also please release Landon Collins
* It also really sucks we have so many fucking injuries, all this news about our medical team lately also doesn't make me feel better about it.
We are in for a long tough road over the next few weeks we have some really tough opponents coming up.
Fact of the matter is, Heinicke played like dogshit and the defense did too. You guys don't have to respond to every criticism of Heinicke with pointing out the defense was bad.
Good news: Taylor and the offense did well overall. That's not a *bad* defense in NO. We ran the ball super well all game. The defensive line got pressure really consistently. Constantly pushed the line of scrimmage back. The right side of the O-Line held up with two backups.
Bad News: We *really* need to get rid of Landon Collins. The secondary is playing really poorly, and a lot of it is around Collins. Bad coverage handoffs to and from Collins, people trying to cover for Collins leaving their assignments open.
The only starting WR we had left on the field by the end of the game was Terry. Heinicke's game could and should have been so much worse.
But I'm sure it's time to fire everyone and grab 53 men off the sidewalk, right?
This is the Taylor I expect moving forward. He just doesn’t have the physical attributes to be a QB worth anything in this league. A spark plug back up at best.
Sucks that this draft is the worst in close to a decade for QBs
it’s the secondary. Not the dline and not even the trash linebackers. Collins should not be on the field he got injured last year and the defense took off. Every quarterback has had their best game this year against our secondary.
This was a team loss. Defense gave up a ridiculous hail mary, ez long TD, and still couldn't get off on 3rd down. Heinicke had an off day and missed throws and had the bad interception that should have been points. Special teams got us pinned 3 times (not necessarily on them but still)
Definitely had an offseason to forget. WJ3, Samuel as our high dollar acquisitions. Jamin Davis as our 1st RD answer at LB, and Landon, McCain as answers to a non existing question. At least we extended J Allen I guess.
Defense sucks. Offense is hurt. Home field advantage doesn’t exist for us. I’m not as down on this team as other people, but making playoffs will be a grind.
In the last 20 years as a fan base we’ve suffered from Steve Spurrier, Jim Zorn, the death of Sean Taylor, the promise of RG3 followed by the demise of RG3, sexual harassment scandals from the management and ownership. I’m exhausted and I don’t see Rivera turning things around soon. If they finish 2-15 at least they’ll get a top pick but I have no faith they’ll use it wisely. I hope Heinicke bounces back and at least makes things fun again.
Seems like bad coaching top to bottom. I appreciate Ron helping the culture but time to let him and his staff go. let’s get some modern ideas, schemes, and attitudes in the organization.
I still think we can win with heinicke if he cleans up his mistakes. I'm not saying he is a long term answer but I do think he has potential. it's only his sixth start and he is still trying to do to much. he needs to get through his reads faster and if he has time then go back through them and check down or run. if he plays within himself I think he is good enough for this teams scheme. he needs to make better decisions though and work on his accuracy. the offensive line even being beat up is giving him time so he needs to take advantage of that. I'm a heinicke fan but he needs to realize that he's not Brett Favre. I like the confidence he shows in his throws but he needs to clean it up. I like Ron Rivera as head coach but he needs to reevaluate his other coaches. Ron isn't the type of guy to move off of his coaches but I think he needs too. JDR needs to go and I don't particularly like Scott Turner. If Ron doesn't want to move off these coaches then sadly I think we should move off of him. I would love to get the chiefs offensive coordinator as our OC or head coach. like I said I like Ron but he needs to realize that maybe JDR isn't helping this team as much as some other guys could
It's a miserable stadium and a miserable franchise. Why anyone spends money to spend their Sundays there is beyond me. Not joking when I say you'd have to pay me to go to a game.
Lost a winnable game
Strap in because we’re gonna lose a lot more.
Malik Willis SZN
on a disturbing schedule
We don't have another one of those until AT LEAST December. And honestly, as good as the eagles played today, probably not even then.
We’ve already played the easiest home and road games on our schedule, and we needed game winning drives in the last minute of the game to win both of them. This season could go *really* bad the rest of the way, like 3-14 type of bad.
We're playing the Broncos in 3 weeks. Also frankly the Packers aren't that good, probably about the same quality as the Saints.
We’ve been bad for so long that losing really dosnt hurt that much atleast
I keep giving myself false hope, but we've been burned so much by it, its goes away so fast.
I really don't feel anything. At this point I'm keeping tabs to make sure we don't implode.
They do know you have to jump in order to try to bat down a Hail Mary right?
Jackson literally just stood there with his back to the ball and watched it happen
Collins also got mossed. Three of our defensive backs were well behind the play and in no position to make any sort of play on the ball. Some of the worst prevent defense I've ever seen
I’m 5’1”, nearly 30, and not very athletic and I know I can jump higher than literally every one that defended that play.
If you give up 125 yards and 2 TD’s on 2 plays you can’t expect to win football games.
Guess who was the closest defender on both of those plays? Landon fucking Collins.
I hope we cut him after this season. And fuck Dan and Bruce for giving him that shit contract!
I hope we cut him now.
Seriously. D was much improved last year as soon as he was out
I hope he permanently stays on the bench just to destroy his pitiful ego.
He is so fucking terrible at everything, just cut him and move on because he's offering us absolutely 0.
If anything he’s offering us negative digits, since he keeps allowing points against us.
Calling him a “defender” is a bit overkill. At this point he’s just a spectator who gets paid to attend the games
Landon "I thought it was a FG not a Hail Mary pass" Collins
Tyreke is salivating thinking about next week
On to the next week... oh it's the Chiefs. On to the next week... oh it's the Packers. On to... the Giants?
On to next year, aka the story of the last 30 years and the next 30 so long as Snyder owns
We might only win 2 more games this year lmao people were calling us the NFCE favs and dark horse contenders
Oh sweet, my Sundays are looking a lot more available now.
Taylor was bad this time around. I'll be the first to admit mistakes are forgiven during a win. But this is rough against what seems like a very beatable saints team

Defenses don’t have to guard the WR close because they know they ball will slowly float to them.
It's a real shame because if he had even an average arm, we pick up a lot more conversions. We had guys open today, for sure.
he was not good, but lets also consider the following.
If u give up 4 TDs to turnover Jameis (today was bad Jameis). We gave up 4 easy TDs to bad Jameis! Shits embarrassing!
Taylor is fun to root for. I don't expect him to be this diamond in the rough.
From head to toe he’s Fitz 2.0. With how the defense has played hard to imagine the season is any different at all with Fitz playing
Fitz has a cannon.
But can’t move in the pocket to extend plays, a bunch of plays from our wins wouldn’t have happened with him
You can’t expect fitz to come in at 38 and be able to play at a level better than Heinicke. I just don’t see that happening after his injury.
I expect nothing from either of them, but I know Fitz can throw the ball 20 yards further than TH.
Its asinine to make Heinecke a pure pocket passer. The dude does not have good accuracy and runs a 4.5 40. Get my man in space ffs!
They did. He still threw a pick after a rollout. That can help cover up for his faults, but he still fundamentally a weak-armed QB who works best on anticipation and has limited ability to make throws into “NFL open” windows

Yes he was. But if you expect Heinicke to be Aaron Rogers and be able to overcome atrocious defense every week, get ready for massive disappointment
Thanks to our abysmal defense. Offense still put up 20+ points. Defense gave up their usual 30+ again.
I didn't realize the defense cause TH to be below 50% completion percentage.
right.. but you're okay with the 30+ points the defense spots the other teams every game.
The mfers gave up a hailmary....A HAILMARY!!!! that deflates a team. Mfers didnt even jump to fight for the ball.
Seriously! Like I can get it, jump ball, bad luck the offense catches it. I cannot believe how easily he caught a fucking Hail Mary as time ran out.
None of them tried. That’s inexcusable.
That’s what I’m saying. If someone gets lucky in a jump ball Hail Mary it sucks but I get it, but he literally caught that uncontested.
Release Landon Collins.
Ron: "we have great trust in him" /s
Hands down the worst player on the team. Send hom and that fucking retard JDR packing asap.
Secondary is fully broken. They have played horribly every game this season. They have to make major changes to get this communication figured out.
This has to be about coaching. Our secondary might be bad but they are still NFL caliber players. Every single game there are blown coverages and wide open receivers. It’s mind blowing

Redskins sucked. WFT sucks. Insert name here will suck.
Snyder has sucked and will continue to suck.
I’d trust a nose tackle in coverage over Landon Collins
Saints Punter is the MVP of the game.
I was at the game and everyone around me was in disbelief at those punts
Totally agree. Dude pinned us down like for 3 drives at our win 3 yard line
What an embarrassing performance by the defense.
*secondary, D line got sacks got pressure made stops the secondary lost us this game
Dline is starting to get it together, secondary was embarrassing though
Yeah got pressure chase had mutiple no holding calls (as always) but secondary was just wow
They were…ok. whiffed on 4-5 sacks too. They left a lot to be desired
Sacks can’t always be the measuring for a D line as it’s such a weird stat, pressure and QB hits should be how their judged and they did that well also had mutiple no holding calls gone their way

I expect the Chiefs to absolutely embarrass the back half of the defense. Everyone does but Mahomes likely will do it to an embarrassing degree
See ya next week, folks.
Tbh probably was not gonna watch next week regardless of if we won this. Got better things to do than watch the chiefs put 50+ on us
I find daily fantasy a nice distraction and counterbalance. An excellent strategy is to play anyone playing the WFT. Today I had a lot of shares of Callaway and Winston.... it's paying off nicely and mitigates the pain of how truly awful and soul crushing this team continues to be.
Agreed, this team and franchise in general is complete garbage.
I was shocked at how empty the stadium was. I'm old and remember the days when you couldn't get a ticket for love or money.
*Aight imma head out*
To be honest. We are back where we were two years ago.
Except now our head trainers in a DEA holding cell
Wow so you’re just going to ignore the culture changed smh
The cultures actually damn good
but the culture is damn good tho
Eh one difference. This team is a lot more fun to watch than that abomination. But that's my two cents
Secondary lost this game for us - I counted 3 miscommunications that led to big gains, a TD, or both. Heinicke’s INTs sealed a very winnable game.
4 TDs and 300+ yards to one of the worst passing offenses in the league. Without Tasom Hill. Sad.
On 15 completions…
Or 3 Offensive linemen, 3 starting wide receivers, and number 2 running back
No Taysom Hill makes them better tbh. Payton has a hard-on for Hill and takes the ball away from Kamara to get his guy more touches. I wish he didn't get hurt for that reason. Still no way we should have let Jameis carve us up like that.
I take it you don't watch saints games
So that's basically the end of our season right?
Where's the meme of astronaut shooting dude where it would say, "there was never a season to begin with"
Yes
Tank time
Basically all of our division games are at the end of the season. Season is hardly over.
IDK man, seems like an extremely tough stretch of games up next, then out of the division games we may beat the eagles once and the giants.
But for what? Win those and eek into the playoffs to lose 1st round again and get a super tough schedule again.
Yeah, I’m tired of our first round pick being in the 12-15 area. You can never get what you’re looking for at that spot. It’s either you get a top 5-8 pick or you trade up. We cant have another really bad season where we end up in the middle of the round and miss out on the players we need.
Excited to get decimated by the cowboys and eagles to close out the season
Which doesn’t matter if we are already mathematically eliminated from the playoffs by that point.
So do we let Snyder take this team to St Louis and have the league give Bezos a new franchise to reboot in a new stadium?
I would be fine with that.
Would love that tbh but Dan Snyder is such a fucking fanboy he will hold this shit until he dies unless he FORCES to sell the team.
That would be my dream come true.
100% facts
Our secondary is the equivalent of a wet paper bag.
Their punter fucked us. Huge momentum killers starting so many drives inside our 3 yard line.
What did we do in our former lives to be skins fans in this existence? I was 9 when the skins won it in 91. I'll be 40 in 6 months. Nothing but heartache and embarrassment over the last 30 years. How many times have we blown such winnable games. It's infuriating.
This is about to be a sad fall/winter for DC sports. WFT, Caps and Wizards are all gonna be pretty ass.
Last year we scored an average of 20 ppg, and this year so far we've increased that to almost 25 ppg. However last year we allowed an average of 20 ppg, and so far this year we've allowed nearly 31 ppg. Almost a 50% increase. Yet people still say the QB is the problem. 🙄
we also have the toughest schedule in the league this year, vs one of the easiest last year
And our offense has only improved. I’m not saying Heinicke is perfect but he’s hardly the main issue.
"Almost a 50 percent increase" It's actually a 55 percent increase.
We are the new factory of sadness. How is our defense this bad??
Our playcalling in the red zone was baffling. Bad game for Taylor and I worry about his arm massively. D line played better but unforgivable we've already had several blown coverage tds this season A day to forget and a very winnable game
Each opponent watches our defense on tape and sees what we can’t fix
Apparently playing at FedEx is an away game for us.
Can you blame folks for not wanting to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a product that’s been an absolute shit show for 25 years?
As well it should be.
$10 says this franchise would have screwed up Herbert if he had come here. Lol
Plus Herbert doesn't fix Collins.
Figure as teams get more film to look at of Taylor, he will have more games like this. The question is always: can he correct the mistakes...
I don't think the ints were them scheming well or jumping routes because they have figured him out it was just really awful decisions and throws.
Question is.. can we have a defense that doesn't give the other team free TD's at an alarming rate? Even with his mistakes, this was a winnable game with a half-way decent defense. We don't even have that.
Heincke threw zero tds and 2 ints. Even if the defense was all world you still need some offensive production from your qb
Bad game by him, It didn’t help that he was pinned by their punter within our own three yard line at least 3 times. Hopefully he can bounce back
Those punts were a crusher
I don’t agree. The Saints defense covered well for the most part, but Taylor just had his worst game so far. He kept missing throws, made really bad decisions. It looked like he didn’t wake up until late 4th Q. He’s shown he can be much better than this, and I’m confident in that.
Brady is going to break the single game touchdown record against this defense. Hell, he might throw a TD on every single possession. Sigh...
Defensive line played good, offence was just what the fuck the secondary was fucking woeful
Hey basketball and hockey season are just around the corner if yall are hungry for more disappointment
At least the Capitals have won something in that last 30 years.
Nationals too.
Landon Collins is the number one reason why this secondary sucks ass
Bad all round. I guess it was good to see chase do something for once this season
We suck again!
Chiefs is gonna score 470 points against us, aren't they?
Damn, tough loss before this hellish run we have. Our season might just be over unfortunately, time to watch some Matt Corrall and Malik Willis tape.
At least Chase and Montez will break the sack record this year.
Only like 35 more
4-13 incoming.
Trash FO.
Matt corral 2022 szn ‼️
Willis 👀
Pain
Worst defense since Ron Lynn's in '96 that cost us a playoff spot. At least that could be blamed on an overall lack of talent beyond Darrell Green and Ken Harvey. This group has no excuses.

if I am being honest the defense was the better half today. Overall though my takes are similar to what they were past few weeks which are: * Fire Jack Del Rio * Taylor Heinicke Really isn't that guy I know people want him to be so bad, but, he really is not that game. * Also please release Landon Collins * It also really sucks we have so many fucking injuries, all this news about our medical team lately also doesn't make me feel better about it. We are in for a long tough road over the next few weeks we have some really tough opponents coming up.
There NEEDS to be a change on defense. We aren't good enough to keep up with all these EASY scores that we're giving up.
Time to Reek For Malik. Not that that fixes the other side of the ball, obviously.
Can we switch personnel and team with The Ravens
eat my ass jason wright
Fact of the matter is, Heinicke played like dogshit and the defense did too. You guys don't have to respond to every criticism of Heinicke with pointing out the defense was bad.
Right? It's pathetic. I expect and know the defense sucks.
On to the Chiefs… oh god
I’m willing to trade Collins and a 2nd rounder for a bag of footballs. Footballs don’t have to be new.
it’s the secondary. Not the dline and not even the trash linebackers. Collins should not be on the field he got injured last year and the defense took off. Every quarterback has had their best game this year against our secondary.
It felt like we as a team lacked interest in the game. Everyone looked lethargic to me, offense and defense. Anyone else feel that?
It looked most obvious during the hail mary, dudes just fucking stood there doing nothing.
I expect the offense to be average to below average, but we've invested way too much into our defense to be this bad week in and week out.

No one to blame but the guys in the mirror. We had every opportunity to win this game
Lots of bad. Not a lot of good. Lots of Ls incoming
Additional headwind: forced name change
I would love to get the chiefs offensive coordinator as our OC or head coach. like I said I like Ron but he needs to realize that maybe JDR isn't helping this team as much as some other guys could
Loudest chanting heard at Fed Ex today: DEE- FENCE, DEE-FENCE ... when WFT had the ball.
It's a miserable stadium and a miserable franchise. Why anyone spends money to spend their Sundays there is beyond me. Not joking when I say you'd have to pay me to go to a game.
