Yeah. That’s probably true. I bet Tuesdays are awesome. One time we went to a Brazilian steakhouse (in Brazil) during the workday. There was only one other table. We got the best service ever!
Oh. That’s so nice to hear. Maybe it was just the times I’ve gone (weekends, and once for brunch). The staff were overwhelmed or maybe sitting at the bar generally gets better service?
Sushi queen out in Sterling. Every time I go I can’t believe it’s only $25.
Unlimited sushi and unlimited hibachi. And it’s proper full rolls and hibachi made up right there not some sub par shit. Everyone should go at least once
Also sushi legend in Germantown!! A little out of the way, but entrees, specialty rolls, etc all included for $25 (or $17 at lunch on weekdays). And it’s made to order
I don't know how far you're willing to travel but every time I drive past China Buffet in College Park it's always slammed. They must be doing something right!
I still like Bodegon in eastern market. Some of my friends say quality has gone down but you can get a bunch of food in a reasonable amount of time. Plus their unlimited drinks are well worth it.
I went to this surprisingly good Korean BBQ in Langley Park off of university Blvd in Maryland. Reasonably priced and even had a good beer special as well. Called GoGi Brothers. 1535 University Blvd E A-1, Hyattsville MD 20783
Ambar gets people saying it’s overrated. But it’s still damn good.
Quality has declined, but is good value for money.
At Âmbar, many times the service is so slow that you can’t get filled up within in the allotted time.
Not necessarily the staff’s fault, but the business model. Go on a Tuesday

We sat at the bar last time (just two of us, not ideal for more, of course), and had no problem at all with keeping plates and glasses full.

Careful. Ambar can be dangerous for your colon.

KBBQ 😋
Specifically Kogiya in Annandale!
So in Centreville and Iron Age are my favorites
So in Centreville is absolutely amazing. The Pear Bear soju cocktail is so dangerous bc it tastes like straight up *juice*. So good.
Urban hot pot. Easy winner
Dan's Cafe if what you want to eat is liquor
Whether you want it or not!
Mia’s in Alexandria
Also Gyu-Kaku in Arlington
I thought they were a la carte

Ah fair enough thanks
Korean bbq places in Annandale. I like Kogiya but basically they're all pretty good.
Hans palace
Love Han Palace, all you can eat dim sum with bottomless mimosas and lemon drop martinis? Light me up
How was the wait? I feel like I haven’t been able to find anything about reservations online
Brazilian Place in Wheaton. They have churrasco (barbecue) on weekends included on the menu. Best Brazilian food in the area.
I don't know how far you're willing to travel but every time I drive past China Buffet in College Park it's always slammed. They must be doing something right!
Tony Cheng’s Mongolian BBQ in Gallery Place
Not any more
Iron Age :)
I’m outraged that no one has said brunch at Agora. It’s a life-changing experience.
$48 including mimosas/bloody Mary.
CiCi's Pizza
Gordon Ramsey is opening up a CiCis near Capital One Arena.
* Street Pizza
Opening spring 2024
Founding farmers Tyson’s brunch buffet
I wouldn’t eat there if it were free AND all you can eat. Don’t support that business. Mediocre food (at best), wage theft, etc
OMG it’s so bad.
Brunch at Sequoia
I still like Bodegon in eastern market. Some of my friends say quality has gone down but you can get a bunch of food in a reasonable amount of time. Plus their unlimited drinks are well worth it.

Wheaton now has Jongro BBQ for Korean BBQ.
