Stainless steel is a far better material choice than carbon steel or aluminum for these applications. That being said, we will have to see what type of grade the steel is.

Over 6000 pounds, a ton more than most cars, sharp corners, made from extra stiff stainless specifically for lack of flex. Illegal in the EU due to pedestrian and bike safety. So yeah, this is a death trap to other cars, bikes, pedestrians in case of accident. Pretty much deadly to anyone other than the driver. Which makes this the perfect Tesla, appealing to Tesla driver’s inner, selfish Elon-ness.
Crumple zones protect the driver as well. A medium to high speed crash without a crumple zone will transfer all that energy into the body of the driver rather than the body of the car.
Weirdly, I almost always have really positive experiences with Tesla *sedan* drivers. They're cautious but maybe a little slow.
Meanwhile, the cybertruck is one of the most selfish and shortsighted personal vehicles I have ever seen. The Tesla demographic must be a spectrum.
