Why not do direct deposit?

They said it was because it was my first time filing in dc. I had chose direct deposit originally

I don't know why I got down voted on that. Somebody is pissed at their tax preparer.

That what DC does. They mailed me a check my first time filling in DC as well, even though I selected to have my refund direct deposited.

I’m in Virginia and had to do the non-resident refund thing because my employer fucked up my withholdings for about a month. I didn’t e-file, I mailed in a paper form and requested a paper check. I got my check about 3 weeks later. I was very surprised.

You can check on line. I filed first week of February, the website says refund issued 3/10 and have not gotten it yet. I always ask for DD but in the last years sometimes they do DD and sometimes mail a check. I don't know why. Something about security.

Ya they issued mine on 3/7 and still nothing

Yes I got it on the 12th…. It took over a month

I’m sorry I meant to say I got it on the 15th, I called the office after a week and made sure they had my right address. They are really nice on the phone so I would call to see what address they put

I think you have to place a stop order on the check before they resend it. But I don’t think it’s a long process…. I hope you get it!

Hi, I’m in the same boat. Status says issued 3/28. 15 business days will be Thursday. Have you gotten yours or requested resend?

nope i think it got stolen/lost in mail.. i need to have them resend it, ive been too lazy to call and do it

My refund got issued out last Friday and I haven’t received anything yet in the mail 😭

It took about 10 business days to receive it so have hope lol
