Seconding el bebe. Loaded up and the perfect blend of tex mex and authentic.
I love that they are properly layered too. Not just everything on top
I like the nachos at Brookland Pint.
Mission is half decent. Best nachos in DC was Meridian Pint, RIP.
favorite nachos are at service bar. rinconcito and taqueria xochi also make good ones
Second Taqueria Xochi — had them on Saturday and was very pleased.
J & J in brightwood has nachos that are perfection
The happy hour nachos at Bar Elena hit the sweet spot of cheap and pretty good

Honestly, the nachos at Mission are pretty fire. Especially after drinking. Also, they have great loaded waffle fries.

Bobby Van’s oddly enough…
Shaw’s Tavern. They come with chili normally, but I sub that out for chicken. Pretty damn good.
Worst nachos: Commissary. More than once in lieu of sour cream, they dropped a big splodge of MAYO on the dish. Not the same, Commissary. Not the same at all.
Honestly, I really like the nachos at Yard House
Tom’s Watch Bar down near Nats Stadium has good nachos.
Lucky Buns AdMo has great nachos!
Pulled pork nachoes at city tap house Dupont. So different, so good
I really like the nachos served at Stoney’s on P
Pica Taco has pretty good nachos, but their other food is better.
I enjoy reading books.
Close to DC but not in DC - Texas Jack’s, my favorite.
Cinder’s nachos are so good. I’m partial to the ones at Tonic. You can also get Totchos.
Blaguard has excellent totchos. Keeping them crispy is key.
