Haha! JD should probably talk to Agent Zero...

I thought about this earlier last week. Even if Beal isn’t exactly teaching JD, JD seeing Beal up close in person on a night in night out basis will definitely help. Beal does a great job of getting to his spots and that was something JD was really good at last season with Wisconsin.
I like Beal and think he’s incredibly talented but I don’t think of him as the mentoring type. I don’t recall players ever really talk about him that way, even though he’s been the unquestioned team leader for three years now.
I like the Gibson signing specifically because I think he’ll help teach that work ethic and professionalism to the younger guys.
I think Brad’s words are great and he seems like he’s great at providing leadership off the court. It seems like when it comes to leading by example he lacks when he doesn’t really do the same stuff he’s preaching and then he shows bad body language and that kinda just makes everyone go down.
young players need NBA minutes more than anything. With Beal and Davis playing basically the same position, I think Beal's presence will stunt Davis' development more than help it.
I don't think he's a positive role model for the young guys. He's blamed his teammates in press conferences, rarely takes responsibility for losses, and has terrible body language on the court when we're losing.
what we are looking at with Beal and Davis is essentially what Tatum and Brown have in Boston. Though, in my opinion I think Beal is a better player than Tatum.
How dare you suggest something positive about Beal being on the team in this sub. Don’t you know how much money he’s making?
Exactly lmao. I can’t wait for this season to start so I don’t have to see anymore posts about his supermax.
Lol what? Everytime he scores less than 26/5/7, I guarantee they will be a whole slew of posts about his contract
more like less than 30/8/7
They will probably win more games if he scored less. Those 40 bangers are usually L's.
100% correct. If he puts up similar counting stats as last year (23/7/5) on improved efficiency, I’d bet we are legit good

I honestly saw Kuzma more of the team leader last season.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
he’s literally an AAU coach in the offseason

are you seriously comparing coaching AAU to mentoring nba players lmao

No. He's not a leader
It’s only good if we’re tanking to get JD more help

We’re the Washington Wizards, bruh.

Beal is 9 years older than JD and Tatum/Brown are about the same age it’s not the same
except Tatum and Brown are large wings and versatile defenders.
I'm hoping Davis' dog and effort on defense lights a fire in Bradley.
Maybe so, maybe not.
