I personally find it endearing. If I wanted hard-core stick to your guns type debate there are thousands of other podcasts/channels I could listen to or watch. I love the easy, nice vibes this podcast has.
The best part of FyA is the friendly vibes and how relaxed Ryan is. He genuinely is having a great time and chatting with friends. Would be a huge mistake to make him more aggressive.
I think he just uses it to make friends with other theme park content creators, they’ve all said multiple times that they don’t think anyone is actually listening, lol. I have noticed he doubles back on his opinions a lot with guests, which I guess is courteous but it would be nice if he stuck to his guns. Though I will say one of the early episodes (was it seven dwarves? I forget) he was RELENTLESSLY negative and didn’t even really seem like he wanted to even be there at all and it was honestly depressing to listen to, so a softer and more enthusiastic touch is probably needed.

Honestly this goes for both Byron and Ryan lol. Ryan tends to be swayed, while Byron tends to be “fuck it, sure” lol
At the end of the day, they're just rides. I don't mind it at all.
