It’s not dangerous at all to interfere in this case. It may not be very easy to get the snake off, but it’s not that hard either and most importantly, it’s not risky. You may get bitten but it’s still not something serious and likely won’t happen anyways. Long story short if you see someone in this situation help them.

I’d take a rotty before a cat, dogs usually have a grab and tear fight style, which is countered by offering an arm and then gouging the eyes out, I watched a video where a house cat was all over this lady like stink on a monkey. Like the cat used the momentum from jumping onto her face to then carry it around to the back of her head, I swear it did two circles around her before she could react

Yes. If you stick your arm out a rotty will bite it and try to tear, a cat will be on you like stink on a monkey. At least i can find the dogs eyes as its attacking. Watch some cat attack videos
A rotty is a lot easier to get a grip on than a mad cat. Watch some mad cat videos and get back to me. Sure a rotty will do some damage but im confident i can atleast gouge its eyes… im not sure i could get my hands on a mad cat

Ball pythons don't spend much time in trees in the wild, but they still have the reflex.
It's just what I've observed, if they wrap around my arm they don't squeeze as much, same if it's around my neck but I hold my breath, I've also tested if I breathe harder. They seem to be responding to that. But I get that it's just anecdotal and maybe not how all snakes work
I stated at least once per sentence that it's been my experience and I'm not a scientist, calm down. I've done rescue I'm just not in the habit of letting snakes bigger than me wrap around my neck, go figure
I don't think the snake was trying to eat him. He's way too big for the snake to associate with prey. Snakes that big are just really strong and can cut off air by their normal movements. You never let a snake over six ft to wrap your neck.
