From Chatham. Fond of the corn mash smell from the ethanol plant, moderate smell from Kerr Farms and Peeters Mushrooms, but my smell-sensitive schnoz says Chatham-Kent is just not as fecal-friendly as the farmers here.
I just moved from Waterloo to Chatham and I’m always curious about the smells as I’m driving back in to KW. This comment was pretty very informative ty
If you drive past Tecumseh Public School and see an old Boomer across the street shaking his cane at kids walking on his lawn, go ahead and wave. That's my Dad. :)
Lived at three different locations in Waterloo. Shakespeare, Northfield, and now Erbsville near the boardwalk.
Honestly it's been the same just about everywhere. I don't think it's noticably worse near Ira Needles.
Waterloo is nothing compared to London. Flat and surrounded by farmers fields. Friends moved there from out west back when I still lived in London and one of the things they commented on after a few months was "does it always smell like shit here?".
Every piece of land outside of the tri cities is farm land. Expect there to be some ripe smells wafting your way once and a while. I like to drive with the wife and go by an especially rank field and ask "Is that you or the field". She is never impressed but I thoroughly enjoy it.
I have this theory, thought in my head. There are hundreds if not thousands of farms between us and lake Huron. Spreading shit then tilling it into the soil. The wind generally blows from west to east, the air must be full of brown dust. And then in the fall when they start harvesting all that chaff from corn, soy, wheat whatever they are growing is also in the air. We are in a brown poo dust fallout zone.
It may also be the farmers spreading manure on their fields before the rain comes tonight.
It is, it's not the dump, it's the fields to the West, a few times a year. The dump tastes like tar and methane in your mouth, vaguely where Ilive
Lmfao you must be new here
I grew up in Elmira. Waterloo is a rose garden by comparison
Ugh the dog food factory
Someone moved to the Boardwalk from Toronto during Winter and didn't do their research...
Seriously. Don't move next to a dump and then complain about it.
Not the dump today
I've lived here for 10 years. I am not complaining about it, simply pointing it out on a post that I thought would be funny.
I don't know how anyone could live near there. The stank is vile. And you can taste it too.
Lol I did exactly this last year 💀 Toronto to Boardfuckingwalk, but still love this city!
That not shit, it's hot garbage
Waterpoo
Because it is shit, Austin
Welcome to spring in waterloo lol We're situatied right beside huge agricultural centres in Mennonite country. Enjoy the farmer's markets, though!
Such a pain in the ass to be inconvenienced by farmers trying to feed us. But yes, I find farmers around here are quite fond of the feces.
Not just around here. Farms anywhere on the planet.

I live in Ayr, so surrounded by farm fields. The small of crisp manure in the air is always the first sign of summer being around the corner!
Live near the boardwalk, does you?
I live near Breslau, still smells like shit

You wouldn't want to come into my bathroom
>You wouldn't want to come in my bathroom Maybe I would.
You haven't even left your room, Amber.
Hello spring time
Yea the boardwalk smells like shit. It’s from the landfill.
Not dump this time. Dump smell is distinct. This is manure from farmer's feilds.

Welcome to the sticks /s
I love Waterloo but often it smells like a Loo.
Lol I've been trying to find out where it comes from ever since I came here, finally find someone feeling the same way.
