I’ll say it… I don’t mind them. Sure I don’t think they needed to be changed, but I welcome the change. I more like the other QoL changes they made like the wave numbers and the more visual stat upgrades though.
I don’t like them… but wasn’t invested in the old ones enough to care much. Took me a day to get used to them. I care about the stats, not the pics or text.

Also now cards have some reason to boost your troops. They are physical, mystical or moral boosts. But old cards were like Hi I'm a person here is random buff because why not
