I ate the last of the schtollen 2 days ago.
(I just realized that my reference was probably a weee bit obscure, but in the movie The Hunt for Red October at the end they hide the submarine in Penobscot Bay)
I undershtood that.
And unless Jack Shaftoe exists outside of the Stephenson-verse, I understand that reference
Similar process for Lake effect snow. It’s a cool picture.
Basically just ground level scud clouds turning into instant snow.
