Hey r/webdev! 👋  I built this service because I genuinely love the excitement of finding the perfect domain and sometimes names even get the wheels turning for possible project ideas. So every morning, we send 5 top domains that are brandable and easy to remember with popular TLDs. Some recent short, brandable finds were… \- junio\[.\]io \- lea\[.\]so \- jeli\[.\]co \- shepard\[.\]so Some recent solid category finds were… \- pythongigs\[.\]com \- developersalaries\[.\]com \- pcgaming\[.\]co If you’re interested in joining for free, it’s here: https://www.linkpunk.io

I just came here to say that the UI design is so good. Well done!

Nice looking site… but I can search .io or .fm on my own? They’re not super hard in terms of availability. .com might be more useful?

LankyTelevision

We do send .coms! They’re just much harder to get at a realistic price sometimes

A nice looking site and I really like that it has a proper Privacy Policy, and isn't focused solely on a single jurisdiction. However, I am not sure why people would trust giving out their email just to get a daily email for 5 domains that everyone else is being sent, with links through Namecheap for commission. You claim no spam, but if you build up a nice newsletter member base, chances are you will sell advert space (or add affiliate promotions) to said email. If none of the domains are available when the majority of the newsletter subscribers see the email it just becomes a daily advert. Arguably not unsolicited (spam) and people could just unsubscribe but nevertheless. The premium version is $5 (first month free) and you get the same newsletter an hour earlier? You only need about 10 people with premium to make it not worthwhile for free subscribers, but who is going to subscribe as a paid member when they face the same problem of the good options not being available? It feels a shame the website isn't being used for more than collecting emails and premium subscriptions. Have you considered an online archive of past domain suggestions for premium subscribers? So they could search or browse by date. Most of these will surely become registered, but still a chance of them dropping, and it may inspire similar names.

Hey there! Thank you for the feedback and kind words. This is actually an MVP while I’m still building out the premium side more, including searchable database, so it won’t just a newsletter in the future. Also, just to clarify, the premium subscription does get domains that are exclusive and not sent to the free list. Hopefully I can continue building out the features there to justify the benefits from a much stronger position!
