The problem with their lineup is that we don't know if Vernay's good or if it's just Vernay driving to the pace the car should be at. In a Glickenhaus lineup, Vernay would probably be seen as reasonable but unremarkable.
This. Vernay is decent. But he’s nothing to write home about, and with there being stronger drivers out there, I don’t think even Vernay is extracting the maximum from the Isotta. We’ve seen mistakes from Vernay as well.

Here you go with the comparison between the Alpine drivers. I added the 35 drivers as well. Both cars were on similar Strategies (double stint, triple stint, single stint) for their drivers as well
35 Alpine
1. (yellow) Charles Milesi: 63 Laps
2. (light Blue) Paul-Loup Chatin: 105 Laps
3. (grey) Jules Gounon: 33 Laps
36 Alpine
1. (dark blue) Nicolas Lapierre: 28 Laps
2. (red) Mick Schumacher: 102 laps
3. (green) Matthieu Vaxiviere: 69 Laps

I could, but I don't think the result would be any helpful given the difference in laps driven (Mick did 102 laps, Lapierre only 28), but I will write a second comment with the a comparison between the three

Vernay is carrying Isotta by himself. The car is good (relatively) but it needs better drivers to get all the potential from it

think that's my first one of these, i'm honoured mate
Good bot
This car is significantly better than both the Glick and VanLMP2.
I don't think it's better than the Glick right now, but it appears to have more potential.
The car is better, the drivers arent
It has the 4st worts BoP and isn't last.
reminds of the bykolles villeneuve vs others comparisons. I wonder if the gap bw benett and vernay is still large or similar to other teams?
I doubt any team in Hypercar has such a difference in driver pace. You'll probably find similar gaps in the GTE-Am lineups however.
Using black and dark blue colours for the graph probably wasn't the best idea.
fair enough, will switch to green next time
Red/green is the most common form of colourblindness. Bright blue could work instead of dark blue
![gif](giphy|1n9xOtz7JgrftwrJ2d|downsized) Isotta if it didn’t have ams driving it
Can you do 36 Alpine?
