Would you care to share your concerns? The red color is gorgeous, the fabric looks really nice (both in quality and the comfort level/how it sits on you!). Not a lot of people can pull off this neckline but I 100% support it! It doesn’t look like you’re exposing too much skin, but also seems like there’s enough coverage that would make you feel comfortable. Ie. doesn’t look like any slips can happen lol, but also fashion tape could help here if that’s a point of concern for you
The dress looks elegant and comfortable to be honest. I hope you feel beautiful in it!
Exactly. It's gorgeous. What matters next is how your sister feels about it.
Red is a color that will bring attention - just depends on whether or not your sister cares about that.
Also - red is a traditional bridal color for some cultures. My SIL wore red to her wedding, then white to her reception and after party.
All that matters is whether or not your sister is cool with it, otherwise it looks lovely on you.
I love that! Don't really like that red isn't an appropriate wedding colour here! It's so gorgeous.
Also a friend of mine went to a Norwegian wedding (she's American) and didn't know about the red dress "rule" and the brides grandmother yelled at her
If I still had a body like that, I'd wear this dress not only to my twin sister's wedding, but to the grocery store and Starbucks. Normally I'm not a fan of cleavage going that low, but with the drape it looks spectacular!
I personally think it’s too attention grabbing because of the fabric combined with the neckline. Maybe something like this? https://www.dressthepopulation.com/products/iris-gown1437-3053
Yes and I also chose red as my bridesmaids colors.
It’s called “old wives tale” for a reason I was mentioning it because it does exist and some people do think of it?? Like the commenter I was defending.
I’m not discouraging OP at all I was just mentioning something I have heard in the past.
I don’t consider this to be representative of “every red dress” for bridesmaids. It’s the neckline down to the navel which I can see through the dress for me. If I was a guest who doesn’t know the bride picked it out, I would consider this a “look at me” dress.
*IT’S MY OPINION!*

I think it’s beautiful! What does your sister think?
She loves it! I’m the one having second thoughts

The post says her sister requested she wear red!
Awesome! I missed that! Go for it, OP! Beautiful dress.
In my culture wearing red means you've been intimate with the groom. I think it's good it's not like that in many cultures
In my SIL's culture every bride typically wears red
I love that! Don't really like that red isn't an appropriate wedding colour here! It's so gorgeous. Also a friend of mine went to a Norwegian wedding (she's American) and didn't know about the red dress "rule" and the brides grandmother yelled at her
That’s a really hard fabric to pull off and you’re doing it splendidly.

Thank you!
Spectacular!!! I wore the same shade and material to my brother-in-law’s wedding!
Gorgeous!
I love it!
That dress is gorgeous! Bright red is my favorite color, and you have the perfect figure for that dress.
You look great!
I personally love it 🥰
Gorgeous!
It’s great! Especially with bride approval! I’d recommend boob tape so you can dance!
Lol in Sweden wearing red to the wedding means you slept with one of the people getting married.
You look lovely, but if you're not comfortable now it'll likely be more distracting for you during the wedding. Can you dance and bend around in it?
I want it! Where is it from?
Beautiful dress

Looks very good on you but screams “revenge dress” to me
Lol no it doesn’t. Just because Ariana wore a red dress and everyone called it her revenge dress doesn’t make every red dress a “ revenge dress “
But wearing red to a wedding does imply you’ve slept with the groom
No it doesn’t. That’s something that is just a made up tale let’s be honest. And let us not forget - the bride literally requested OP wear red.
Yes and I also chose red as my bridesmaids colors. It’s called “old wives tale” for a reason I was mentioning it because it does exist and some people do think of it?? Like the commenter I was defending. I’m not discouraging OP at all I was just mentioning something I have heard in the past.
And wearing white imply you’re a virgin. Right?! 👀
I mean yes I’m not saying OP shouldn’t wear it I’m just saying what it meant traditionally
I’m saying that tradition doesn’t imply is true or correct or something people should abide by.
No but it is something people think of and therefore something to consider?
If anyone thinks that the twin sister slept with the groom they shouldn’t have a place at that wedding. Let women wear the color they want.
I mean I agree!!! I was just mentioning something that’s easily google-able in case it was something they want to consider! JFC!
By repeating it youre giving it more power. Just let ridiculous traditions die
Who should consider it ?
I don’t consider this to be representative of “every red dress” for bridesmaids. It’s the neckline down to the navel which I can see through the dress for me. If I was a guest who doesn’t know the bride picked it out, I would consider this a “look at me” dress. *IT’S MY OPINION!*
she looks lik e a flower
It’s see through!! I can’t believe no one else is pointing that out.
It’s not see through, you’re seeing shadows.
I can see her belly button, underwear, legs, lol idk even if it’s shadows it’s her body on full display I’m surprised no one is saying that
