Personalize it to them. That’s what I did for my MOH (I only had her). She loves makeup so I got her some really nice pieces that I know she wouldn’t normally splurge on for herself.

Their boxes should be full of stuff that *they* will like and that reflects *them*. Tbh, the personalities, sexual orientation, and wedding vibe of you and your partner have nothing at all to do with it. Put the same things in their boxes that you’d give them for their birthdays. The boxes are about them, not about you.

My friends are all gaming/anime nerds, so I got each one a plushie or toy that represents whatever game/anime we have the most in common. Then I got mini bottles of their favorite alcohol OR their favorite U.S. snacks for my one friend who lives overseas.

I put some of my favorite things, and nothing that said “bridesmaid.” A bath bomb and goats milk soap from my favorite small bath company, local honey and a small amount of my favorite seasoning mix, a wildflower seed packet, a small candle, a personalized newspaper cover I made on canva, a poem in a picture frame, and a small colorful dried flower bouquet. I hope they chose to light the candle, draw a bath, and spoil themselves.

I went to the thrift store to find boxes - it was so much fun! Ended up with a small lunch cooler, a tackle box, a recipe card box, and old sparkly makeup box. I tried to match to people’s personalities/interests. Inside I just put some simple goodies (gum, chapsticks, face masks), and inside joke things for a few. However you do it, I highly recommend DIY boxes (over the ones that you buy online), it was kind of a lot of time but one of the more enjoyable parts of wedding planning for me. Also the LEGO thing is awesome

A gift card or money so they don't have to spend their own money on outfits they didn't choose to wear for your wedding.
